2 times draft media please? or 2x first article? Or both? I don't know if they stack.
Finn von Murphenstein is an Austrian. But now he lives in Vancouver, so is reachable in the PST timezone. But what is there more to know about him? Not a lot, but I will try anyways so bear with me for a bit. Finn was born in Vienna to a family who didn’t do much with sports. Or nothing at all. They come from an old aristocratic family with a lot of history, deeply entangled in the past of the country, but never really known for producing sports talent so it was a surprise to everyone when Finn started playing a lot of different sports in high school. After trying out soccer, curling, extreme ironing and a bit of professional LARPing he decided to follow the sports person lifestyle and become a professional linedancer. It took Finn a bit to realize he lives in the center of europe where people don’t care about linedancing at all. The competitions were filled with old people in cowboy hats who spoke not even proper german he understood and the prizes were milking equipment. But he was set on trying a north american sport so he started playing hockey when he was 12. Soon his coaches realized his natural talent for the sport and he started playing offense for a local youth team in Vienna called “Wiener Jugendmannschaft des EisHockey Vereins Brucklinghausen-Neustadt”. After the first season where the team lost every single game, they decided to switch him over to a defender and use his speed and natural shot talent to quickly go rushing forward and attack the goalie with breakaways and quick, accurate shots. This was a gamechanger for the team and him, his talent to defend and analyze the game and players paired with his speed and playmaking ability made the team go to the championship in his second season there and put him on the board for austrian scouts for the first time ever. When he became of age he signed his first futures contract for his home town team the vienna capitals of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League, a multi-country hockey league in the heart of europe. He got called up to play for them soon and quickly started turning heads on the big stage when he continued to dominate the ice and started getting international renown when he was picked up in the CHL Import Draft soon after and decided he would want to go on the international stage like his big idol Michael Grabner who for some unknown reason looks exactly like him. Soon after that he decided the CHL was not in his plans and that his endgoal was the SHL, the biggest league with a lot of international players and where he wanted to end up, so he rejected his CHL contract offer for the Spokane Chiefs and decided to declare for the SHL S58 draft shortly after. To prepare for it he moved from his home town of Vienna to the city of Vancouver where he started training for the draft. Much to the dismay of his family who wanted him to take over their estates he was set on being a professional hockey player and is now eagerly awaiting his chance to play after being signed as a rookie by the St. Lois Scarecrows and sadly not seeing any ice time as a DFA. He was shocked when he was not called into the Team DACH for the IIHF but only took it as a motivation to be better in the future. To end this introduction, some random facts about Finn von Murphenstein:
