On the subject of goalies - I do think it's still worth it to look at applying the 50% active back up discount to starters as well but that's for another thread / day

We did testing of our own on the SMJHL level. We determined there was no substantial impact and it should create some parity because lower level players will be more productive. Hopefully this encourages more activity, as well as encouraging playing lower level active over higher actives.
