Hello tMuse aka J.J. James Jamerson Angler back again with another deep dive. This time i want to take a closer look at 2 of the playoff series of the Anchorage Armada. And again, i want to highlight some star players from those games.
Anchorage Armada finished the preseason 5 - 2.
They managed to win 45 out of 66 Games, losing in overtime 5 times in the regular season.
Anchorages Armadas regular season stats are quite good. They had the 3rd best diff with +74 (243 goals scored; 169 goals against).
The only teams with a better diff are Newfoundland Beserkers (+83) and Kelowna Knights, which they are facing in the SMJHL playoffs final (+118).
 
The first series we’re looking at:
VS Nevada Battleborn   - Anchorage won this serises 4 - 1
Game 1: W 1 - 0
* Pablo Salvatici - C he had 1 assist and helped Tokkulu Lakkamaa to score the game winning goal in the 3rd period.
 
Game 2: W 5 - 3
*** Bean Beanman - LD he scored 1 goal and also had 1 assist, he played an overall clean game and shot on the goal 8 times.
* Pablo Salvatici - C he scored 2 goals and also had 1 assist and 1 hit. He also shot on the goal 8 times in this game.
 
Game 3: W 6 - 3
*** Gregory Goode - RD he helped to score 1 goal and shot on the goal 6 times. Super clean performance on the ice.
** David S. Pumpkins - C he scored 1 of the 3 shots he made.
* Alimony Tony - RW he had 2 assists, blocked 1 shot and also had 1 hit.
 
Game 4: L 2 - 3
** Tokkulu Lakkamaa - RW he scored 1 goal and also had 1 assist. He made 4 shots onn th goal, blocked 3 and also had one hit. He played his heart out but sadly it wasn’t enough to secure this win.
 
Game 5: W 4 - 3 (OT)
*** Tokkulu Lakkamaa - RW after that loss in the last game he stepped on the ice and just did it again. He scored 1 goal and also had 1 assist again.
* Cole Carter - LW he scored 1 goal and also had 1 assist. He blocked 2 shots and had 4 hits.
 
The second series we’re looking at:
VS Colorado Raptors   - Anchorage won this series 4 - 0
Game 1: W 4 - 2
*** Ville Kurri - C he scored 2 Goals by shooting on the goal 4 times. He also blocked 1 shot and had 1 hit
* Jean-Locke Zidane - LD he helped to score 2 Goals and blocked 3 shots. He also made 4 hits.
 
Game 2: W 7 - 1
*** Tokkulu Lakkamaa - RW he had 3 assists and made 1 tackle. All in all a clean game from Lakkamaa
** Cole Carter - LW he also had 3 assists and made 1 hit.
* Pablo Salvatici - C he scored 3 goals by shooting on the goal 5 times. He also made 3 hits and 1 tackle.
 
Game 3: W 3 - 2 (OT)
*** Ville Kurri - C he scored 1 Goal, blocked 3 shots and made 2 hits.
* Alf Magnusson - RW he scored 1 Goal and made 1 assist he also made 4 hits.
 
Game 4: W 2 -1 (OT)
*** Benjamin Jansson - LW he had 1 assist and shot on the goal 3 times. Overall clean game!
* Mikhail Novikov - C he scored 1 Goal and blocked 1 shot. He also made 1 hit.
 
And thats it! Super excited about the final and good luck to both teams!
