1. Dexter Bouchard
Bouchard is a first gen rookie coming into the organization at 5'11 and 205lbs, he has a stable starting build and shows a lot of promise. He was an addition after the draft but has done well with his earning thus far, and on the ice has performed as well as his teammates. He is bolstering his already solid build by developing his defensive game, while adding to his arsenal of offensive prowess. The team looks for him to develop into a solid asset in the forward core, and with a strong locker room presence he is making a name for himself. Currently his weakness is his puck movement but in the first season of everyone's career there will be glaring holes in their game. As Dexter progresses through his career he will develop into one of the leagues top players, focusing on rounding out his game, while he hones his shooting ability combined with his sturdy build. With a young roster, the Outlaws will continue to work with Dexter to become a pillar of the team in high stress situations. 2. Connor O'Byrne Connor O'Byrne is another first gen rookie who was drafted at the #20 spot by the Outlaws. He comes to the organization with a very solid foundation, which, while an overall weaker player now, will help out in his future by giving him something to build upon nicely and still be an asset to the team throughout their development this season. He is awaiting a 70 TPE update which is he making the strengths in his gameplay more pronounced in his offensive capabilities while enhancing his defensive game to give the Anaheim goalies a little bit of breathing room. A strong locker room presence and interest in his player development work nicely together as Connor looks for TPE opportunities and bonds with his teammates. Throughout the season, look for Anaheim to call upon this rookie for big moments and play on the top 6 core as they work toward something better in S62. 3. Borje Samuelsson Borje is a recreate that came to the Outlaws in the 2nd round of the draft and is making strides to help the organization. A strong veteran presence in the locker room and an all around good guy is one of the best assets to a young team. Recently named as assistant captain of the Outlaws, the young rookies look to him as a mentor At first glance, Borje is not the type of player you want on defense. 6 foot 7, 235 pounds and the defensive capabilities of a rock with the shot of Happy Gilmore. While all this does not look good on paper, what is does provide is room for improvement while adding a strong presence in the offensive zone on the blue line. His defensive game will be easy to bring up especially with an already developed offensive mindset. Another plater with a 70 TPE update going in, he brings up his offensive game even more, and is becoming useful once the play turns around the other way. ![]() |
