Theo Morgan
@Otrebor13

One of the first breakout players in FHM. A career in STHS that was underwhelming, but in FHM, Theo Morgan was a star. The trajectory lining up with Hamilton's dominance in the S50’s, to which Theo Morgan was a major contributor . Originally drafted to Los Angeles in S47. Morgan was taken 14th OA. Other than a short 2 game call up in S47, Morgan’s first full season in the SHL was S49.

Morgan’s STHS career was, in short, disappointing. THe highest point total was 32 points in S52, Morgan became unhappy in Los Angeles. Not exactly the start of a career that lands you in the top 75 all time in the SHL.

At the start of his FHM career, Morgan was on the Los Angeles Panthers. Scoring 20 goals , 21 goals, 19 assists for 40 points. His best for his career. Then follow that up with his first PPG season with 26 goals and 25 assists in S54. But Los Angeles was time for a change, and with that a big trade.
Theo Morgan, Hiro Fijikawa and Jon Toner were traded from Los Angeles to Edmonton for 3 1sts, a 2nd, and 2 players in the S54 offseason. Who knows what was in store for Morgan? Only staying 1 season in Edmonton, Morgan again put together a career high of 37 goals, 32 assists for 69 points. With that, he earned his first achievement, the Jay McDonald award for most goals for the season, and cracking the 2nd All Star team. But Theo made it well known that he was going to free agency in the S55 offseason. And with that, Morgan's journey in Edmonton finished, and a new chapter in his career began in Hamilton.

If you talk to Morgan now, signing with Hamilton was the best thing that happened to him in his career. After all that's where almost all of his personal achievements came from.
S56 is the first of Theo’s best seasons. Coming into Hamilton and immediately becoming their best player. He had another career high of 43 goals, 39 assists for 82 points. On Top of that, Hamilton also won the cup that season, the first of 4 Morgan will win with them. Awards wise, Theo won everything. Got 1st All Star team, Jay McDonald Award, Sergei Karpotsov Award for most points in the season. Then winning the Ron Mexico and Khan awards as well. Quite the season for him.

S58 was another major standout for Theo, winning his 2nd challenge cup, and getting 3rd All Star team. Within the past 3 seasons since signing with Hamilton, Morgan has put up 223 points in 182 games.
S59 though, will be his best season ever, and one that will go down in history for FHM. The first 100+ point season ever. It was close though, with Michael Scarn getting 98 points the season before, but Theo Morgan was the first to crack it in FHM. 48 goals, 54 assists for 102 points. Theo Morgan won it all again. Another 1st All Star, Jay McDonald, Ron Mexico, Khan, Karpotsov awards are all for him.
After that, Theo enjoyed another 3 amazing seasons of being at the prime of his career. 3 80+ point seasons, where they saw Morgan get 2 more cups, a 3rd All Star team, and an Anton Razov nom for playoff  mvp. Then the last 2 seasons Morgan saw a reduced role in Hamilton, only scoring 44 and 45 points respectively.
Then at the end of S65, Theo called it a career. 17 seasons, 996 games played. 479 goals, 532 assists for 1011 points. At the time of retirement, Theo ranked 5th all time in points, and 3rd all time in goals. Only a few players have ever won 2 Ron Mexico’s. Only 1 of 9 players who have won the Mexico award twice. One of 6 players to win the Jay McDonald 3 times.
So what’s Theo’s legacy? Being the first player in FHM and SHL to reach 100 points in a season. A dominant player on a dominant Hamilton team. Winning 3 McDonalds, 2 Ron Mexico’s, 2 Karpotsov’s. Reaching 1000 career points, and winning 4 cups too.
