Hey everyone it's Dale Murphy once again!
And oh wow do I have some wild news to report on games 3 and 4 from New York! Game Three ![]() ![]() Coming off the heels of a blowout 11-4 win, the Forge came out hot again. Graj Virrok, Cale Salad (PP) and Gnabe Dabson gave them a 3-0 lead right off the bat. Mary Hollywood got one back for the Rage, Salad had another PPG to make it 4-1, also chasing the Rage goalie. Arnost Hlemyzd made it 4-2 but WW3 Wingmate-Roc reinstated the 3 goal lead. 5-2 after one. Wow. But Manhattan owned the second period. Austin Morley, Ylib Kove, Jaromir Jagrbomb on the PP tied the game. The Rage added two more to back it 7-5 after two. But the Forge weren't going down without a fight, Marek Carda made in a one goal game at :45. But Manhattan got the next one from Alexej Kastrba, enough to chase BASE PACK. Nathaniel Barca made it a one goal game again with 4 minutes to play, but it was not enough, Niclas Sundqvist added an empty netter. Game Four ![]() ![]() Once again the Forge got the first goal, Graj Virrok at 2:24. But the Rage got it right back Elly Snow-Leopard. That was all for the first. But the second period killed the Forge again. Mark The Tater Tot Jagerson gave the Forge a lead, but the Rage took it back Ylib Kove and Roger Murdock. Tony Sparano tied it back up again. But two goals from Mary Hollywood and Ylib Kove gave the Rage a 5-3 lead. Graj Virrok made it interesting with a goal at the start of the third, but the Forge couldn't find another goal. Austin Morley and Roger Murdock ended all hopes for the Forge. A 7-4 Rage win. So we have a new best of three series. How about that? That's all folks!
