Hi! Welcome to another episode of DPS index summary, in which as always, we will summarize the three classifications that I prepared. There is one last week left before end of the regular season of the current campaign, so let's see how things are going in the final stretch. I remind you that the classifications you will see are sum of hits, takeaways and blocked shots for the most productive player in defense, next is the same sum with an added +/- balance for the most effective players and the team classification with the sum of the same points without +/-.
01. Sven Holmberg - TOR - 344 (=)
02. Fredrik Gronlund - SFP - 340 (=)
03. Dieter Fruhstuck - MIN - 330 (=)
04. Ace Lightning - BAP - 325 (+4)
05. Furious Chicken - BUF - 298 (+23)
05. Ho Lee-Smokes - CHI - 298 (-1)
07. Niclas Sundqvist - MAN - 297 (+9)
08. Elena Maximova - LAP - 295 (+11)
09. Troy McClure IIII - NEW - 294 (-4)
10. Slowpoke - BUF - 293 (-1)
The podium is ruled by the same three, in the same order, unchanged from last week: Sven Holmberg from Toronto North Stars, Fredrik Gronlund from San Francisco Pride and Dieter Fruhstuck from Minnesota Monarchs. Buffalo Stampede player Furious Chicken had a very active week in defense, hopped 23 positions, making Stampede the largest representation in the top ten with tenth Slowpoke. Also making significant leaps was Niclas Lundqvist of Manhattan Rage and Elena Maximova of Los Angeles Panthers, who both moved into the top ten thanks to their defensive productivity. 01. Westley Kirkpatrick - CGY - 321 (+2)
02. Fredrik Gronlund - SFP - 315 (-1)
02. Troy McClure IIII - NEW - 315 (+3)
04. Ace Lightning - BAP - 312 (+8)
05. Ho Lee-Smokes - CHI - 311 (-3)
06. Kristian Seppanen - ATL - 309 (+4)
07. Sven Holmberg - TOR - 308 (-4)
08. Niclas Sundqvist - MAN - 305 (+5)
08. Simo Jaaskelainen - SEA - 305 (-2)
10. Dunkler Sowerwine - TBB - 303 (+4)
After adding the +/- balance, the most effective defender in the league is currently Westley Kirkpatrick from Calgary Dragons, pushing off the recently leading Fredrik Gronlund. The podium is completed by the always solid Troy McClure III from New England Wolfpack, and right behind him, with a successful week under his belt, Ace Lightning from Baltimore Platoons. There is currently no team with at least two players in the top ten. Hits + Takeaways + Blocks
01. MAN - 1237 + 633 + 1079 = 2949 (+2)
02. BUF - 1157 + 641 + 1093 = 2891 (+6)
03. BAP - 1219 + 528 + 1127 = 2874 (+4)
04. NEW - 1265 + 581 + 1010 = 2856 (-2)
05. SFP - 1191 + 606 + 991 = 2788 (-1)
06. ATL - 1222 + 539 + 1000 = 2761 (+6)
07. TOR - 1104 + 566 + 1089 = 2759 (-6)
08. TBB - 1261 + 522 + 975 = 2758 (-3)
09. LAP - 1156 + 607 + 971 = 2734 (+2)
10. SEA - 1099 + 539 + 1076 = 2714 (-4)
11. PHI - 1303 + 561 + 848 = 2712 (+3)
12. NOL - 1063 + 559 + 1058 = 2680 (-3)
13. HAM - 1162 + 484 + 948 = 2594 (=)
14. CGY - 1202 + 468 + 918 = 2588 (+1)
15. MTL - 1158 + 512 + 856 = 2526 (+2)
16. WPG - 1184 + 508 + 830 = 2522 (+2)
17. TEX - 988 + 489 + 1011 = 2488 (-1)
18. CHI - 964 + 487 + 1029 = 2480 (-9)
19. MIN - 1022 + 430 + 1005 = 2457 (+1)
20. EDM - 1125 + 574 + 653 = 2352 (-1)
Major changes on the podium. Manhattan Rage jumped from third place to the top of the table, and a great week in the league was also confirmed in this classification by Buffalo Stampede and Baltimore Platoons, respectively, who completed the podium. North Stars, who had been leading since the beginning of the season, have clearly lowered their productivity, landing in seventh place. Much like Stampede, the Atlanta Inferno produced the biggest improvement this week, moving back into the top half of the standings. Chicago Syndicate with the biggest fall, taking place third to last this week. (Words: 615) |
