Primary Purpose: To coordinate and direct the league's media payments.

Nature of Work: Media is a huge part of the activity of our league. Articles provide insight on the current state of the SHL, it's teams, and players. These articles often spur discussion, and provide entertainment for our members.

For these reasons this is a very important job. The Media Manager will be responsible for making sure that the proper payments are deposited for written articles, and that this is done in a consistent and timely manner. Articles can spring up very quickly in the SHL and it is important that the team does not fall behind in this work, for their own benefit and that of the league's players who rely on these deposits in order to continue with their own development.

The Media Manager and his team may also come up with new and innovative ways of encouraging more articles to be written. This could be done through a lottery, a random prize with each deposit, with contests, or any number of other initiatives. He will also be responsible for the managing of his Media team.

Responsibilities: Hiring at least one (1) assistant so that payments are deposited in timely fashion in accordance with the payout scale; setting up initiatives to encourage a greater number of, and more unique articles; posting weekly deposits so that members will be able to receive their payouts quickly.

We are now hiring a third grader to work alongside myself and Donini.

I will review all applications myself and talk with Donini as well. I would like to hire someone who doesn't already have a position that has weekly requirements (such as player updater) and that will help us improve further upon the media section.
