<div align="center"> Norway Knights OSLO, NORWAY Knights Norway

Paul Sorenson, Manager and Coach of the Kelowna Knights and President of the Norwegian Ice Hockey Federation presents himself to the media for the first time since recording a 4-0 series sweep over the Detroit Falcons in the 4-Star Cup Final, capturing his second straight title in as many years with the team.

Sorenson is currently overseeing the Norwegian program as they've just clinched a spot in the Olympic tourney.

"As you know, we've just captured an appearance in our second straight international tournament. We've come a long way from having just 4 natural born players to now, and of my Knights; I am so very proud of all they've accomplished. Recording 2 sweeps and an 8-0 playoff record is no small feat. Congratulations to them for the work they've put in and on their futures in the bigs. We've also got a big draft coming up, lots of great new faces. Looking forward to it."

"With that said, I'd like to open the floor to any questions the media may have"</div>

Quote:What did Harter and Smirnov bring to the table in their 2 seasons as knights ?
Do you think Kelowna can three-peat ?
How many send downs are you hoping to have this season ?

1) Harter and Smirnov brought the kind of presence you want out of your returning players. Ales was always wanted to be involved in the coaching aspect, suggesting strats and discussing lines with myself, and Harter's jovial attitude really lit up the locker room. In addition to this was, of course, their dominant play. Ales led the team in points, and was an absolute force on offense and defense. A Crucial piece in our dominant Penalty Killing unit. Harter needs no introduction, really. He came on last season during our first cup run, dominating the competition and it continued through this regular season and into the playoffs. Without a doubt two of the best players I've ever personally developed.

2) Yes, I think we've got a good chance at repeating. We've managed to take advantage of a paradigm shift over the last few seasons in the SMJHL and turn it to our favor. A few seasons ago, the draft classes were stacked and it was a little different then. Vancouver and STL and Detroit had a leg up, but once it petered off, we managed to grab it by the horns.

Looking around the league, only a couple teams have established goalies, Detroit only drafted 4 players last year and their roster projects to be mostly new faces, Vancouver is still Vancouver. Regina is an interesting one, they did much better than previous seasons and the arrival of Lunaro as Co should be a leg up for their future. Montreal has a promising GM at the helm but it'll still be a ways before they're someone to worry about.

Point is, there's no favorite. Harter's gone, but we figure to have a few guys coupled with a solid draft and there's really no reason we can't.

3) Quite a few. Benson, Carter, McDoodle, Berkis, Ponsen, Phantom, are just a few we project to return. Of course, this could change at any moment, but it's looking like at the very least, we'll have a decent veteran contingent to help us in our quest for Three in a Row.
