After a poor showing in the first group of IIHF games Czechoslovakia would like to make an announcement for the upcoming IIHF games set to take place later this season:

After a poor showing in the IIHF games yet again we have decided to make some changes to our line-up. Currently we are having issues with inactive players as our last Co-GM was fired due to inactivity. First as the head coach I would like to welcome Diamond_Ace publicly to our team and I am excited to see his play Clyde really hitting the gym hard on his return. I also want to adress that yes as well known our goalie situation is flugel at best with having 3 inactive goalies that are part of our nation. It does make things difficult to develop but we are maintaining hope that we can improve and move forward. This leads me to announce our first real roster change in bringing someone up now.

The crowd grew silent as Andy motioned to the side of the stage and out of the shadows...

On behalf of Czechoslovakia I would like to welcome Pierre-Luc Laflamme to our roster. After a short conversation with GM Artemis he was absolute right that we need a young winger with a strong scoring touch on our roster. With defensive minded centers we needed a forward with a pure scoring touch. With a few big blasters on our defensive side including guys like Martinek and Rachy we needed someone in the top 6 to make a difference. I would also like to announce that Satan will at some point soon break the top 6 as well as he provide a balance to a line and he sees signifigant time both on the bottom two lines as well as the powerplay. I would also like to announce that Seth Ryder will be making the same jump as Laflamme soon as he is a player we are still watching develop and will defintely need down the road. Both of their agents are awesome people and I am excited to have both of them for my country.

The crowd cheered as Laflamme bowed graciously and took question as Head Coach Andy took his seat. This looks like an exciting move for Czechoslovakia and he is excited for this young forward and how he will develop.

playing with my teammates is part of the intangibles I bring to the table
i play with them a lot.
they didn't like it at first
but after a while, it just felt normal

4-0 and 0-4 aren't that different tbh
