Registered Junior Member Roman Costa Skelleftea, Sweden #21 Dual-Winger Q: Why leave Sweden, to play in North America? A: I want to win at every level. I want to win every championship that matters. Nobody outside Sweden cares about our league, so I need to come here to be a superstar. To make Sweden proud. Q: Thoughts on the draft? A: Pissed off to fall so far, I'm better than that. This is just further motivation to excel and further proof people underestimate the Swedish leagues. Q: You're now a Whaler, what can you bring to this organization? A: Goals, fans and championships. I'm here to win, and dominate. Q: How long do you plan to stay with Vancouver? A: Until I'm needed at the next level. I like Vancouver, I'm excited to do big things here. I have no interest in bolting immediately. Q: What do you feel is a realistic point production level for your fans to expect? A: 25 goals, and a 1/2 dozen assists is the bare minimum. Q: What do you think is you biggest strength and weakness? A:I don't play defence well, I'm here to score and score is what I do. Q: You made a name for self in Sweden as a shootout specialist, do you expect that to continue to be a strong point for you here? A: I told you, I score goals. Doesn't matter if it's 1-on-1 or 1-on-5, I'm going to keep scoring. Q: Besides winning in the SMJHL, what other goals do you have? A: International glory. I want medals, specifically gold ones. I want to make Sweden proud, and help restore us to the hockey superpower status we deserve. Q: Final thoughts to share with your new fans? A: Buy Whaler hats in bulk, you'll be throwing alot of them on the ice.
