Riot in Seattle, Abdeezy steps down, Mpc named head
![]() Abdeezy adresses the media on stepping down, joining Militia The Seattle Riots head gm, Abdeezy, stepped down this morning, and joined the Montreal Militia as co-gm. As a result, Abdeezy has named mpc Head-GM. Brumm stepping down as Co-GM, Wilson, Knouse potentially asking for a trade As a result of the hiring of Mpc as head gm, co-gm Brumm was furious with the decision, and has opted to step down as co-gm and will be leaving the Riot in free agency according to reports. Also as a result, many Riot players wish not to be gm’d by mpc and are looking to ask for a trade. One name that is believed to be among that pack is Trevor Wilson, who was the Riots seventh overall pick in S31. Cory Knouse also may leave the Riot if Wilson opts to do so aswell. Knouse played with Kelowna in S33, and captained the team to the finals, and is regarded as one of the Riots best prospects. Renegades might draft Eddie Andrezjeck[/size]] ![]() Eddie Andrezjeck potential target for the Renegades at the draft Rumor in the SHL is that Eddie Andrezjeck, Kelowna Knights defenseman on top prospect this upcoming draft, is among players the Renegades are interested in. Rumors suggest that the Renegades are looking to draft Andrezjeck with the second overall pick. Steelhawks likely to draft Trochek ![]() Jakub Trocheck With Ludwig Koch Schroder testing free agent waters, the Steelhawks will be looking to replace the star at the draft. The most likely pick here will be Trochek, top defenseman this draft class, and shows a lot of potential and ceiling. Jed Lloren looking to win now ![]() Jed Lloren The veteran Riot forward will also be looking to test free agent waters this Monday. The star forward wants to win now and win a cup before retiring in a few seasons. The Jets, Wolfpack, Dragons, Panthers and North Stars are teams that may potentially look to acquiring him. Platoon resign top players Mikko Linna and Ales Sminrov The Platoon proudly announced yesterday that they resigned both Ales Sminrov and Miko Linna, just a few days before they were set to hit the free agent market. Both are star and important forwards for the Platoon, and for the Platoon, this is a step forward for the Platoon going forward. Platoon reportedly offered Jonathan Lundberg a big-time contract last offseason Lundberg was a free agent last offseason, and the Platoon were looking to sign him to a big time contract. They offered a “truck-load” amount of money to the center. Why? Because they feel they lack depth at the center-position. This offseason, they may offer pending free-agent Liam Kinsler a contract, but seems less likely. Vorkampfer wants out? ![]() Recent reports suggest Vorkampfer wants out Recently speculation from sources and executives suggest that Stampede prospect Viktor Vorkampfer wants out of the Stampede team. Why? Likely because he and Stampede center Winter have some heavy tension between each other, both in public and in the locker room. Chiefs may use their second round pick on a goaltender It’s a possibility that the Chiefs bring in either Cechove, Boeing or Wagner into Minnesota for at the draft. Why? Anderssons contract is coming to an end in a few seasons, and the Chiefs will be needing to look at drafting a goaltender to replace Andersson once he begins to decline in a few seasons as well. Xander Green wants to join the Wolfpack After much speculation and rumors, it seems clear that top prospect this SHL Draft is wanting to be drafted by the New England Wolfpack. Sources suggest that he has warned other teams that he wishes not to be drafted by them. JP Punishment sparks storm from SHL Members. Friday night, JP received an extreme punishment from the league for being involved with the tampering involving Reed Laing. The reaction from the league was clear, it was a poor decision and the Head Office should retract. Knights focusing on replacing Horvat and Knouse at the draft Cory Knouse and Vasily Horvat are both going to begin their journeys up to the SHL next season, though Knouse may not begin with the Riot as expected. With that, this leaves a huge hole in the Knights lineup, and the Knights will be needing to replace the two at the draft. Jets name Zach Evans Co-GM, search for new Detroit Co-GM Begins Today, the Winnipeg Jets named Zach Evans co-GM of the Jets. Evans was previously the co-gm in Detroit until this announcement. As he is being promotoed to an SHL-GM position, he will need to step down as Detroit Co-GM. For head-GM WBF, this means he will begin his search for a new co-gm to replace The Raiders goaltending situation Yep, we’re back to this again. It appeared earlier this week that the Raiders were looking to move up from their 3rd round pick to the second round to acquire top goaltender Aleksander Aleksandrov. But with the entry of Artom Zhumbayev into the SMJHL Draft, the Raiders won’t be worrying too much about missing out on Aleksandrov. “Zhumbayev is a fantastic goaltender that lot’s of teams don’t know about yet” said an SMJHL Executive who spoke with us this week, “the players and management in Halifax have tons of respect for the player, his roots are mainly why.” The Raiders are rumored to draft him with their third round pick. Mammoths Rambo has retracted his trade request ![]() Mammoths Defenseman Rambo As reported a few weeks ago, Mammoths defenseman Rambo had requested a trade away from Colorado. Reports are coming in now that Rambo has rescinded his request, but don’t leave it out as a possibility that he still may be moved. Mammoths looking to move up? Sources out of Colorado are suggesting that the Mammoths are looking to move up into the first round before the draft. It is unsure why, but they have been offering up their second round pick to move up. Rambo may be in the mix, but did rescind his trade request earlier. Robert Phelps attracting interest ![]() Top SMJHL Prospect Robert Phelps is attracting loads of interest Robert Phelps is now a serious consideration by many teams, and is likely a top 5 pick at the draft. Many teams believe that the young player will be a top 5 pick, and some teams are trying to move up into the top 5 to draft Robert Phelps right now. The Raiders may be looking to move up to aquire the young forward, as they are looking to draft a center this draft ![]() Registered overwatch is a first person shooter for weebs
