The stand off between Texas police and Renegades goalie Freddie LaFlame has now reached 6 full hours.
This was soppose to be a memorable day in the life of Halifax netminder Freddie LaFlame who got the call late last night that he would be promoted to the SHL and starting in a set of games for his parent club the Texas Renegades. Reports indicate that LaFlame bought 40 tickets for friends and family to watch his debut aganst Seattle and San Fransisco.
It did turn out to be a memorable day for Freddy... After allowing 17 goals
In game 1 and another 17
in game 2 .
It is believed that somewhere between goals 27 and 33 Laflamme may have passed out in the crease... a report which league officials are taking quite serious.
Eggy: 'If LaFlame was in fact unconsious, we will consider annuling those 5-7 goals from his stats.'
