S42 IIHF World Championships &
World Junior Championships, Ticket Sales Date Set

Prauge, CZE - With the SHL trade deadline having come and gone the IIHF has deemed it fit to announce the official date that tickets for the S42 World Championships and the World Junior Championships will go on sale. Exactly 4 days from today on August 8th at 8 AM Central European Time (2 AM EST) tickets will go on sale both at the Czechoslovakian Ice Hockey Federation’s box office and online.

Single game tickets will be available starting at 443 Kč and ticket packages will be made available shortly.

To order call 1-420-211-158-000 and ask for the box office or visit the Czechoslovakian Ice Hockey Federation’s website at www.czehockey.cz/ and click on the section labeled “Tickets”.

Be sure to pay attention to where the game will be taking place as the group stage will see at least two different arenas utilized with the World Championship group A games taking place in the Czech Republic, group B’s games taking place in Slovakia, and the medal round taking place in the Czech Republic. Depending on the number of teams playing in the World Junior Championships a similar format will be followed, however the medal round will take place in Slovakia.

Be on the lookout for the Visitor’s Guide to Czechoslovakia that will be coming out in the coming days as you plan your trip to the beautiful countries that will be hosting this season. There will be a lot of time between games that you will have to fill, and we have come up with some great activities to partake in and sights for you to see!
