Double Media Draft Bonus, 520 words, ready for grading

December 20th was a night to remember for all of these talented young men, marking the first step in what is sure to be successful and enriching hockey careers for them. For Bobby Sharp and his friends however, the celebration has made remembering this night rather impossible. I had the pleasure of spending time with him and his friends on the evening he was drafted, so let's take a look at the events that unfolded

8:38pm - Bobby Sharp was drafted 45th overall by the Kelowna Knights, a fantastic hockey club. It puts any fears Bobby had to rest
 

8:39pm - 10 simultaneous beer cracks are heard as Bobby Sharp and his 9 friends Mike Mays, Fred Sharp, Pete Smith, Jack Olsen, Junior Wilson, Kyle Nowak, Jeff Callahan, Joey Madden, and Bill O’Brien embark on a fraternity style bender 


8:54pm - The kegs arrive, Jack Olsen and Pete Smith grab Bobby Sharp and have him christen it with his first keg stand. Sharp dedicated to show his strength as the 45th overall pick decides to solo it half way through


9:23pm - Beer pong tournament begins. 91 cups per side 


9:39pm - Bobby Sharp and Joey Madden lose their first match, 91 - 78
9:43pm - Keg Stand number 2


10:43pm - Bobby Sharp and Joey Madden lose their second match 91 - 89 and are eliminated from the tournament


10:44pm - Bobby Sharp and Joey Madden lace their skates up and shoot the puck around on the back door rink.


11:05pm - Joey Madden shoots a puck that knocks down 80 of the beer pong cups. Hockey gets banned for the night


11:08pm - Lost entry, ripped out of journal. I think Jack might have done this based on the next one 
11:34pm - The doorbell rings and a girl answers. It’s then that everyone realized Jack Olsen has been on Tinder the whole night, Jack is lost for the evening to the power of lust


11:48pm - Keg Stand number 3?


12:33pm - Fred Sharp, Pete Smith, Jack Olsen (replaced by Bobby Sharp) and Jeff Callahan are left in the tournament, they play a best of 5 for the finals

12:42pm - Game 1 goes to Fred and Pete, 91 - 84
12:59pm - Game 2 goes to Fred and Pete, 91 - 88
1:19am - Game 3 goes to Bobby and Jeff, 91 - 83
1:20am - Group keg stands


1:43am - Game 4 goes to Bobby and Jeff, 91 - 72
2:03am - Game 5 goes to a 10 cup overtime, Fred and Pete win 101 - 93


2:04am - Another group keg stand


2:10am - While all of the guys are playing video games, Bobby Sharp is reminded training camp starts the next day. Panic ensues 


2:15am - Bobby goes to his room in a futile effort to get a good nights sleep
2:16am - Bobby passes out, his friends playing video games still


6:04am - The last of his friends fall asleep
7:00am - Bobby wakes up, sees 200 solo cups in his backyard without knowing why, tiptoes over his friends sleeping on the living floor and leaves for training camp.
