S47 WJC DACH roster

![]() Registered Posting Freak ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My strategy as a GM is to build a good possession team, and wins will come. We have some great players here and I’m confident we can win the gold medal. With that said, let’s announce team CHAD DACH. Forwards ![]() ![]() Muller had an incredible season for St. Louis as he scored 41 points while playing under 13 minutes a game. His P60 is 3.87 which is by far the best in the league, and he also finished top 3 in CF. I’m counting on him to lead our team offensively in a more prominent role with more minutes, and he will wear the C this tournament. ![]() ![]() Sami’s numbers might not look that great at first but that’s because he played half of the season with a center he didn't have chemistry with while we tried to get our third line going in Vancouver. He’s a good pass-first player and he will mesh well with some of our scorers. ![]() ![]() Another player from St. Louis who had an impressive corsi this season (57.28%). His IPPEV is over 75% which means he was the driver of his line. Boomhover played in all situations, and actually played the most on PK among STL forwards. ![]() ![]() 40 points and 56% corsi, I feel pretty good about my season. I wanted to build a good 2-way center and looks like I managed to do that, at least at the SMJHL level. I’m here on loan from Canada for 1 season and I sure hope to make the most of it. ![]() ![]() Knurtsson was the only player with a positive CF on a bad Colorado team. His RelCF is 8.55, and he also had the highest IPPEV on the team. Even though he didn’t lead Colorado in scoring, he was their best player at 5 on 5. ![]() ![]() The thing that stands out to me about Cooper’s stats is the 90 IPP. That means he was the only player on his line creating offense, which is probably the reason behind his negative corsi. ![]() ![]() Frankly, almost every rookie is a liability on the ice until they get more tpe but Bitties had a very good season for Detroit. He scored 32 points with limited minutes and believe it or not, had the best CF and RelCF on the team. ![]() ![]() Slap isn’t a great scorer which limits his potential offensively but he has good skating and great FO, and he will be an important player for us, even if he doesn't get a lot of points. ![]() ![]() It wasn’t a great season for Telanne but he will help our depth because he has high scoring and most of our centers are pass-first players. ![]() ![]() Baston played in SHL this season and his veteran presence will be a welcome addition to our team. Can’t really compare his stats to SMJHL but I think 17 points in 50 games is pretty good for a rookie, especially if you consider that he hasn’t unbanked yet. ![]() ![]() Morris is a good two-way forward. Scored 19 points while playing limited minutes and had one of the best STL/TO ratios in the league. ![]() ![]() All things considered, it was a solid rookie season for Puhcheese. He didn’t get on the scoreboard often but his corsi was very close to 50% which is quite impressive at his tpe level. Defensemen ![]() ![]() Seger is a workhorse defenseman who played almost 24 minutes a game for Anaheim this season. We don’t have a lot of depth defensively so we’ll need him to do that again for our team. ![]() ![]() Magnicotta is a great all-around defenseman. He ranked top-10 in goals, points, +/-, shots on goal, blocked shots and corsi % among all defensemen this season. Very impressive. ![]() ![]() Karazija was arguably Vancouver’s best defenseman this season, and I’m very pleased to have him on our roster as he transferred just in time. He’s a versatile player who can log a lot of minutes, drive possession at 5 on 5, kill penalties and play on the PP. He will be another key player on our blue line. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() These guys complete our defensive group and while they’re not high tpe players, I hope they will be able to hold their own. Goalies ![]() ![]() DACH has a lot of good goalies which is a luxury not every team has, and I’m very confident in the 2 goalies we selected. Soonika had second best quality start % in SMJHL this season, and third best GSAA (goals saved above average). Not to mention that he played very well in the WJC last season. ![]() ![]() Braulin is a very capable backup goalie from Vancouver, and one of the brightest goalie prospects in SMJHL. He will definitely start in some games, and if Tibuk has a bad game, he will come in and give our team a chance to come back. Now let’s go get that gold! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Site Management Index Dad
