Looking at Vent's Career so far
#1

Coming into the league Vent was drafted by the Kelowna Knights after winning Gold for the Czech World Junior team.  Vent’s first season saw him only get 4 points, 88 penalty minutes, 67 hits, and 42 shots blocked. Vent seemed to hurt his team mostly by taking bad penalties and not staying out of the box. He was not living up to the two-way defensive style that he was hoping for.

After Vent’s first season we saw him get drafted by the Manhattan Rage and begin his second year in the juniors. The Czech world junior team was unable to get a medal that year and Kelowna went into the year with what seemed like a stacked team. Vent was on a pairing with the amazing Guy Zheng @goldenglutes  who carried the pairing to relevance with Zheng gathering points while Vent tried his best to stay out of the penalty box.  The Knights were able to make it to the finals that year but were unable to beat St. Louis in game 7 and were left with nothing going into the offseason. On a positive note Vent was able to score his first ever goal while in the playoffs. Vent got more points in 5 more points ending the season with 9 points, 68 penalties minutes, 62 hits, and 39 shots blocked. Vent was growing more and more into a goon than a two-way defenseman. Season 46 saw him in 4 separate fights during the regular season and 2 in the playoffs.

Season 47 started off great for Vent since the Czech World Junior team was able to win gold once again making Vent a two-time gold winner. During the offseason Vent worked with his Rage Gm @JayWhy to become the two-way player he wanted to be.  It seems like the worked paid off during the season. Vent was a top minute defenseman for the Knights and was able to get onto the score sheet more the 9 times during the season. To be exact Vent got a total of 23 points in season 47 a career-high (obviously).  Vent in his opinion had his best season ever of his career during season 47 with 59 penalty minutes, 63 hits, and 59 shots blocked. Vent has been slowing but surely staying out of the penalty box and being able to contribute on both ends of the ice. Vent was also named Best Defensemen by his team getting him the Eric Chisling award.  Vent was ecstatic and was looking forward to going into season 48 with the knights.

Season 48 saw the Czech World Junior team lose in the bronze medal round. On a positive note Vent was named an alternate captain for the Knights and was looking forward to starting the season. However, Vent received some news from the Rage offices. Currently, Vent was a 7th defensive on the entire Rage’s roster for defensemen. The Rage currently had all 6 slots filled with a better talent for the team and Vent would not be able to join the team this season. Looking into the future the currently defensemen on the roster are not close to regressing soon and were either getting into their prime or already in their prime. So, Vent was left with a storm cloud over his head on his future with the Rage franchise as of now. Vent currently has 17 points in 27 games. Vent also seems to not have lost his fighting itch since he has already been in 3 sperate fights this season.

The future for Vent right now is unknown to him. He does not know if he will be able to make the Rage’s roster or will he be traded to another team to play on. Vent right now is just trying to focus on the current SMJHL season and get his rebuilding Knights into the playoffs.
