Twelve.

That's the number of teams that should be knocking on the door of the Militia's centre Conor Tanner.

Son of IIHF Gold Medal winner and current general manager Connor Tanner, he will be foregoing the SHL draft this season in favour of signing with his fathers team the Edmonton Blizzard, and will likely play there the entirety of his career. This has led Conor to pursue the decision of his IIHF team in similar fashion to free agency, as this will be his only chance at a free agency experience.

Currently Conor is not willing to exclude any team in pursuit of his talent but obviously some teams are better off than others.

Austria had the best pitch during Connor's run in transferring countries, unfortunately for both Connor and Austria, he had already transferred to Canada one season prior. From my quick memory Austria has some pretty talented depth so I wouldn't see much time but who knows what can happen.

Connor played his entire IIHF career for Canada apart from one WJC when it first came back on the scene. He won multiple medals, mostly bronze, but did manage one gold before retiring. I like the guys in Canada and DrunkenTeddy was the only federation head to reach out when I was asking for a transfer out of Ireland, even before retirement these guys were asking me to come back, maybe it will happen.

I know plenty of people in Czechia, but there consistent theft of Canadian prospects left a bad taste in my mouth, maybe they have the ability to repair that with a nice free agency spiel but as of right now they would have to manage a pretty smooth conversation with me in order to have me swooned.

Honestly do not know many people in Finland, I know @WannabeFinn is there, but I have no idea in the slightest who else is there. Maybe they want me, maybe they do not. I do not know.

I was once bet that I would not leave Ireland and then I did, and then they won multiple gold medals. That could have paid for like an extra season of equipment. God damnit.

This is my reminder to Latvia that @Ace promised @joguurta that his recreate would be Latvian when he recreated, so I am reminding everyone that it needs to happen. I do not know many people hear, but the ones I do know are good people. Karey's a nice guy and he might make a signature for my player if I joined Latvia, that would be pretty sweet.

Norway jumped my bones as soon as the first playoff sim happened, they have a lot of great guys from the Blizzard such as Karl, Muford, Er and CK but is the locker room going to just be Blizzard 2.0? I have a lot of shared locker rooms with these guys, maybe a bit of change is in order.

What's the current state of the locker room after the incident yesterday, hopefully it is still alright. But I know a lot of draftees in my class are Russian,is the margin for error in making the roster a little too slim for me? Who knows, they would have to show me where I potentially slot in.

Sweden was actually the first team to message me, I thought they had maybe tampered me but I think they messaged me literally the second the playoff simulation had happen. Shows me that they really want me, but they need to talk to me more about a potential role in the organization.

The second team to message me actually outlined where my role would be immediately and in the future, and explained the current state of the team. One of two new teams to the IIHF circle it would be kind of interesting to be part of the first ever medal for a team.

Couple guys I love, couple guys I don't love, but let us be honest, most IIHF locker rooms are dead outside 2 weeks of the season, maybe it will not end up being a problem. Feel free to chat me up boys.

Currently the four teams in the running are Canada, Switzerland, Sweden and Norway, and it's only because they have spoken to me. I hope to hear from the federation heads of every team, but I also understand people can be busy. I look forward to speaking with every team and trying to find the best place for my player.
