Three Stars of the game according to Simon T Hockey Simulation Version 1.5.1:

Third Star:

Kalvins Zvejnieks of the Detroit Falcons who recorded zero goals, one assist, one point, a plus one rating and three hits! A physical presence on the ice Kalvins Zvejnieks is someone whose name I cannot spell and cannot speak therefore I must type about, but his one assist was apparently deemed worthy of third star..?


Second Star:

Skao Anazibf of the Detroit Falcons who recorded one goal, zero assists, one point, a plus one rating and one shot in route to helping his team to victory. Another name I cannot pronounce or spell but Nour is a good guy, and he did end up with the game winning goal so who is really counting?


First Star:

Savoli Tankovic of the Detroit Falcons who also recorded one goal, zero assists, one point, a plus one rating and 2 hits on route to helping secure a tough victory for his Detroit Falcons, Savoli's eleventh goal of the season was good enough to be the second goal of the game, and I'm unsure why he was picked for first star considering Skao's goal was the game winner?

First Period:


Although Halifax outshot Detroit seven to six it was Detroit who made the first shot count as they scored a little over two minute into the period to secure a one to nothing lead.

Second Period:


Detroit clearly was not thrilled about being outshot the first period and dominated the entire ice the second period as they out shot Halifax thirteen to one making two of em count in order to take a three to nothing lead after two periods of play.

Fortunately for the Halifax fans in attendance they did not want to go down quietly, outshooting Detroit nine to four in the third period and ultimately falling just short after scoring twice early, not even an extra man on attack after pulling the goalie seemed to be enough.
