The LOTW is a player that has made outstanding contributions to our team both on and off the ice.  They will have performed well in the sim, not necessarily only points wise but made great contributions to the team in general.  Off the ice, the locker room is integral to the Lethbridge experience and we want to recognize the members that make it special and keep everyone coming back day after day.  

The player who wins this award the most times by the end of the season will take home our new team award for Lion of the Season during our yearly team awards ceremony.

This week's award is being awarded for the last five regular season games. The next LOTW awards will be for the second round and the third round respectively. The player who is taking home the LOTW award for the end of the regular season is one of the players who has actually taken it home. This player has been a great influence in the locker room all season and has fulfilled the leadership role that we asked him to take on earlier this year. After clapping bombs all season, this player finished off the last five games while dropping 2 goals, 5 assists for a total of 7 points while adding 2 hits, 9 shots and 7 shots blocked. He also clapped a couple more bombs and broke two panes of glass in our practice facility.
