Speed Run Day 2

Typing this on mobile to see how hard it would be in a worst case scenario. It wouldn’t be impossible that I could do something stupid like drop my laptop.
The week is almost over, and so is September! The first thing means it’s almost time for S50 to start and the latter means the worst month of the year has almost mercifully come to an end. Speed run will primarily take place in October. The consensus feeling about the speed run is that I’m insane and going to burn out, but I disagree....on the latter point. I am most definitely crazy for doing this. I made another sig and a speed run post yesterday, but got a bit busy last night and didn’t do anything else. That’s a bit of a setback. I have time today but first I have to do my SBA stuff, I procrastinated it all to the last day as usual. I am fine with writing about nothing for SHL but please don’t make me force 900 words about basketball; 3000 words here is easier! If I get that done, I want to write a major article here and make 2 more sigs. The 2 sigs have to be prioritized since I need to max out at 4 for that sweet double media week bonus. Definitely not writing the major article on my phone, this is actually painful right now. Feels like I’ve written 1000 words but only 200. If the Grader grading this reads to here, please give me a bonus for writing this on mobile, I deserve it for the suffering I have endured to get here. A few extra hundred thousand might do the trick At any rate, despite not doing much yesterday, I think progress is fine on getting to my goal. I haven’t gotten anything graded yet but that might take quite awhile, it is very slow. Graphics and media are completely backlogged which is a bit concerning and might make the speed run take a few extra weeks even after I’ve done enough stuff to pass 200 million. It’s a shame double media cutoff for media cut off on Thursday, such a random and abrupt middle of the week deadline. I will make sure to capitalize on that next year with some crazy ridiculously long double media post that will make the media graders hate me forever. They probably already hate me for the amount of articles I’ve posted in the last few days. Don’t worry, I’m just getting warmed up. Alright, so now a life lesson for our dear readers. Moral of this post; don’t write on your phone. It’s torture, just don’t do that to yourself, no one deserves this. It’s like eating a burrito sideways; you just don’t do it. I meant to get this to 700-800 words but that clearly is not going to happen. Actually, I’m over 500 words, might as well try to make it, only one more paragraph to reach that. We better hope nothing ever happens to my laptop though because the speed run would die then and there, I am not doing this under any circumstances ever again. This is worst that the most horrible WFT prompts of all time. Including the song one. So, time to sign off, conclude this post, and go get my laptop before I do anything else. I will be working on a 50 questions article that should be quite long and I’m thinking of doing one that covers fantasy sleepers, as well as some potential fantasy busts. I like projecting fantasy performance so that sounds like a fun little adventure. Will be interesting to see if my predictions hold up to the randomness of STHS when the season starts, Simon has no interest in common sense as we all know. Good players can be the worst players on planet earth while nobodies can score a million points with annoying ease. Alright, now I have made it to 700 words, thank god, finally done. This was not cool, 0/10 would not recommend. If you read this far, you’re a real trooper, hats off to you. Thanks for following the progress of the speed run, we will see all of you again shortly!

September is the worst month of the year? I disagree. December is the worst.

Truly think all months have their merits but to me its May. My birthday is in May which is great. However, my other brothers were also born in May (so money is spent on presents) and the weather makes my allergies flare up and it rains too damn much

Since it will improve your count, could you put your thoughts on the Rantanen contract in your next issue?Sure, I can give thoughts on recent nhl rfa contracts per request unless I hear any objections from graders!

As a kid, more often than not, I either became sick or injured over the Christmas holidays. Several times even had to go to urgent care. Also, depression. Like, actual clinical depression over Christmas (and really, really negative thoughts), triggered over an event that occurred several years ago, and the two are almost inseparable for me now.09-29-2019, 09:00 PMTheHockeyist Wrote: Christmas is exactly why I hate December.
