Members of the Martian Air Force branch of the military entered Earth's atmosphere today in an attempt to give their demands to HO to force a reform of the SHL, citing "planetary bias" and demanding them to expand to Mars.

The attempted landing was horribly unsuccessful.

The Martian Air Force was not trained to handle the conditions of Earth's atmosphere, which was 100-200 times thicker than what they were used to on Mars. As a result, they guessed how to enter the atmosphere beforehand. They entered at the wrong angle and way too fast, resulting in air friction burning their ship within minutes. The temperature was also enough to explode the ship, killing the Martians instantly.

Residents in Florida (the site of the attempted landing) reported a spectacular meteor shower. The debris from the Martian crash has not yet been located.

It is unknown when or if a second attempt will be made to land on Earth.

The SHL is safe. For now.
