Well, once again, twitter is being a tad annoying for me. the cause for this annoyance is the recent news of the payout structure. I am a little pissed at this present moment of time. This is, was or should of been a great avenue for myself to generate some extra needed money for my team and to, at least, cover my weekly shl trainings. But NO! My personal account, for some unfortunate reason or another, has been frustratingly suspended for some time now and I have tried countlessly to restore it without success as of yet.

So here I am, trying to earn some extra needed green cash, sideline if you want, and so I am going to jump on this bad wagon of the Colorado Raptors! What a hot start to season 57 and I could not, will not ignore it.

The pieces are coming through as bright as the stars, and we started seeing these glimpses since last post season when everyone and their dog had us bowing out in the first round. But we didn't go quietly and this season is no different from the last post season team. Minus a few veterans graduating to bigger and better things or simply moving on elsewhere, vets like Aumy Jr, Gudmundur Kristjansson, Hiroshi Ohira, Jean-Uhtred Ragnarsson-Tremblay, Lord Raiden, Mack Daddy, Michael Lee, and Wally Herman. Hope I did not forget any and if I did I am truly sorry.

With the addition of last season combined with this seasons draft class, the Raptors are being noticed and not taken lightly anymore. Season 57 thus far has them at the summit of the SMJHL with a perfect record of 5-0-0 and 10 points in the standings. Thanks to a team effort in all three zones of the ice the Raptors have the second best offense and defense of the league. A pace no doubt to the great pleasure of team management and players alike.

A roster which in the last two seasons has added fifteen new bodies to the lineup, and when I say "new bodies" I mean fresh meat off the entry draft and the majority coming in the most recent draft (9). Safe to say that the Colorado Raptors are the youngest team in the league.

A quick breakdown of player position with the TPE average using the cap rules and not their total players TPE amount.

Center average- 286 TPE (4 players)
Right Wing average- 250 TPE ( 6 players)
Left Wing average- 237 TPE (3 players)
Right Defense average- 340 TPE (5 players)
Left Defense average- 350 TPE (2 players)
Goalie average- 222 TPE (3 players)

The team is young, focused and very active, 3 traits that will bring a championship(s) to come if not this season but in the coming ones for sure. Proud Dino here and looking forward to growing and prospering with these young gentleman. Together we will hoist the illusive Four * Cup hopefully sooner rather than later and maybe more than once!
