Newfoundland Berserkers Game Reactions for Day 12
Pregame Coverage: LET’S FUCKING GO!!!!!!!! Game 28: Newfoundland  at Colorado  AN ABYSMAL PATHETIC GAME THAT ISN’T EVEN WORTH DIGNIFYING. COLORADO HAS THE ABSOLUTE LUCK OF THE CENTURY TO SCORE 5 GOALS IN THAT GAME WHICH INCLUDED A BREAK AWAK ON A PK. FLUKE LUCK AND HUGO NOT PLAYING LIKE HIMSELF I HATE IT BURN IT. WE OUT SHOT COLORADO NEARLY 2:1, WE WERE THE BETTER TEAM AND THEY KNOW IT. Nike Kickz Jr and Jesse Trudeau both played well. Both were +2 on the night but Trudeau had a goal and Kickz had 2 apples. Zerk of the Game honors goes to: Nike Kickz Jr! Congrats! Game 29: Newfoundland at Anchorage  Shutout 0-2 in a game against Anchorage. We weren’t the better team, not even close. I don’t just say we were the better team everytime we lose. I’m very genuine when I say we were the better team and we lost. Well not this game. Anchorage slapped us with their boats and we had NOTHING to say. We just took it on the chin. SINK BOATS! Some performances worth nothing would be Sabarro Torretta’s 3 hit performance. Bas O’Bigbers had a surprisingly good night on defense and had 2 takeaways. Zerk of the Game honors goes to: Matty Sandeen! A superstar performance on defense that must’ve rattled the confidence of the boats. Congratulations! Game 30: Newfoundland at Vancouver  After losing 4 in a row Newfoundland needed a “pickmeup” and boy was this one. Newfoundland wins 4-1 and god it feels so good. Lots of really great performances in this game. Sabarro Torretta recorded his first goal in the SMJHL. In addition to a goal he also had an apple and played really solid defense! Leon Athanasios scored the insurance goal that the Zerks desperately needed to close the game. Evgeni Petrov had another stellar performance tonight. The rookie goalie is sensational and I think these SHL GMs need to take notice! With that let’s go to our Zerk of the Game award: Robert Black! The British Isles forward had an incredible tonight including the gigantic game winning goal that put Newfoundland over the top in a game they desperately needed to win. We can’t thank him enough for everything he’s given us this season. Bless you Mr. Black. Postgame coverage: Not much to say other than it is good to end that losing streak and turn the page on to something brilliant. LET’S GO ZERKS COME ON!
