Good evening SHL,

It was found that during Season 73 the Winnipeg Aurora did not post their official prospect call up/send down list, and as a result, failed to complete their Offseason Tasks in a timely manner. This was something that was missed by the SHL Head Office for the duration of Season 73 and as a result the Winnipeg Aurora were not alerted as to what they needed to fix. The SHL Head Office has voted on the following courses of action/punishment:

- SHL Head Office is currently developing a new method of collecting and monitoring the completion of Offseason Tasks for SHL GMs. Our current system is inefficient and outdated and, clearly, susceptible to things being easily missed.
- We will be altering the Call Up/Send Down task. Starting in S75 SHL GMs will be required to list their Call Ups, Send Downs, Released, and Unsigned prospects.
- The Winnipeg Aurora will be assessed a "Two Days Late" penalty, forfeiting their nearest team-owned 2nd round pick, under II.B.3.b.ii in the SHL Rulebook as an acknowledgement of both Winnipeg's and the SHL HO's failure to recognize and address the issue in a timely manner. This punishment is appealable.


Not voted on, but in addition to the above, the SHL Co-Commissioners (@sköldpaddor @Rangerjase ) and I will be forgoing our $8 million salary for Season 74. We acknowledge our failure in this and we hope to address this issue going forward to the best of our ability.
