How Stavros Kondos' Subway Addiction may affect his draft stock By: MattyJ
It has come to recent attention of the league that Stavros is partaking in over consumption of the popular fast food sub shop known as Subway. This is not known as a relatively healthy form of food consumption. Already standing at 6'2" 202 pounds, Stavros does not have room for much Subway weight to be put on. Although, Stavros is not a player that relies on his speed and agility, it undoubtedly is something GMs need to look out for. One anonymous GM stated "We are aware of the situation and are talking internally about possibly removing him from our board." Another GM talked about the possibility of adding a no Subway clause in his contract.
We reached out to Stavros about this addiction and the possibility of a no Subway clause. He exclaimed, "I have no further comment, and I will not sign that contract." After this, he took a big bite out of his Italian Herbs and Cheese sandwich. Stavros is an elite prospect. An excellent offensive center that could no doubt change the future of an SMHJHL franchise. However, is this addiction something that could alter the course of his career. We will have to find out. I am also told some GMs are worried about him wasting his 100 million dollar budget on the new Subway churros, cookies, or even upgrading his sandwich to a meal. This is a really unfortunate situation to come out just days before the draft. Perhaps a GM will take a chance on this Subway eating center, or perhaps he may fall out of the draft for good.
Today has been a disappointing day for all involved. The rookie chat room has been filled with arguments about sandwich shops and ice cream sandwiches. Hopefully, Stavros' antics do not cause a dangerous ripple in the SHL community. We do wish Stavros Kondos godspeed with getting over this addiction. Be well, Mr. Kondos.
Perhaps a GM will take a chance on this Subway eating center, or perhaps he may fall out of the draft for good. We, as a media organization, do not like to spread false rumors or lies about any young junior players. For this reason, we have linked our very reputable sources below.
