Yesterday, due to IRad's poor free agency market in the SHL, he has decided to retire. This was a bitter way to end his career (no SHL playtime) honestly, he should've gotten an offer from an SHL team, but all of the teams ignored him. So, he retired. IRad said on X after he retired, saying "No one wanted me in the SHL, so I retire for good. It was a pleasure playing for Maine and Great Falls during my time in SMJHL, but all good things had to come to an end after NOLA dropped me and I was stuck in the market after SMJHL, so yeah.". IRad won 1 Four-Star Cup in Maine when he was just a rookie in SMJHL S73. His former captain, Teal'c also retired early. Teal'c's owner might've quit SHL for good. Today, IRad expressed his feelings about retiring early and he said, "I'm sad that I was left out in the market, nobody wanted me. I wanted to play, but I didn't fulfill my TPE minimum so I could play.".

A new player is coming for the SMJHL and SHL. The player will be better than IRad and will try to become an HoFamer. But when she heared of IRad's retirement, she decided to put on her skates and register.
