Vancouver's Garbage Season So Far

Season 80 has brought a few good things for many teams. The Walleye rocketed up to the top of the standings along with Carolina, while a few teams have plummeted to the bottom. Vancouver is (unfortunately for myself) one of those teams. The Whalers are running a 1-20-2 record on the season(before the sim tonight) which is the worst record for Vancouver for a while in the first 23 games. While the team spirit is still up for the most part, the team record is not the same. This awful performance can't be blamed on one part of the team or any singular player. It is the fault of the whole team that they have such a disappointing win loss this year so far. Losing a few great players including NoNo Jo and MattyJ in the offseason, the team has not really improved. I'm not saying our rookies are not up to stat or are underperforming (just look at my rookie season) but losing great players like that won't help the team.
Even with the disgusting performance of the team at the beginning of the season maybe we can turn something around and get a respectable record come the playoffs. Suffice it to say this year will not be a Whalers best, but maybe next year will see better results. 228 words Sig by ME
