Hello SHL,

We have received an appeal from the San Francisco Pride regarding this punishment.

While we do understand the difficulties regarding the GM situation in San Francisco, we did see a couple of issues in regards to this case. First, Bayley’s player was not stated to be signed by SFP until 9/30, a week past the freeze, and was not moved into free agency prior to that. In addition, Badwolf was found to have been notified of the new GM task at the same time as other GM’s, and while she did not haveaccess to move her players to FA and had to request said access the night of the 22nd roughly 15 hours before the task was due, she was given access to do so 3 minutes after asking, which in the committee’s eyes was enough time to move her players prior to the deadline. For the reasons stated, we have decided to deny this appeal and uphold San Francisco’s punishment.

We would also like to recommend HO be more clear in their communication regarding new tasks by specifically mentioning times tasks are due. While we do see that this new task falls under B.3.b, anything to make the timing around new tasks more clear in the future would be appreciated.
