Erik Chisling the Start of a long tenure

Erik Chisling was drafted by the Los Angeles Panthers in the Season 5 Draft at the 13th OVA. After this season he was a member of the Manhattan Rage and from Season 9 to 11 he was a Dragon. With Calgary he won the Challenge Cup in Season 9. Personally he won in Season 8 the Scott Stevens Award (best Defender) and also was nominated in S6 and S7. That means this was in his Manhattan Rage era. During his 8 seasons in the SHL he was 4 times an Allstar.

Career Stats by Erik Chisling

Erik Chisling played 354 Games and scored 50 goals as Defender. That is a good number. He also brought up 169 Assists. Overall that makes 219 Points in 354 Games. With that he had a career point per game of 0.62. At this time of the SHL that was an impressive number as a two way defender. That shows his 2.43 Hits per game and 1.19 Block per Game stats. He had his best season in season 6 as he brought up 13 Goals and 38 Assists in 60 Games. No Wonder that he won the Scott Stevens Award. He also brought up 117 Hits and 69 Shot Blocks. and 217 Shots. His Ice Time was at 24:29 Minutes per Game. In Season 12 he was inducted to the Hall of Fame of the SHL.

Welcome to Ace Faulkner

Ace Faulkner was drafted by the Hartford Hydras later better known as New England Wolfpack with the 2nd OVA Pick in the Season 12 Draft. He did stay with New England for 6 seasons and for his last season he was traded to the Los Angeles Panthers.

Career Stats for Ace Faulkner

Ace did play in 338 Games and scored 109 Goals and 136 Assists. 245 Points in 338 Games. He was one of the best team players in that time and did help Carter O’Callahan having legendary seasons next to him. 0.72 Points per Game isn't that high but as a Team Player over his career that is a very nice stat. For his Hits you can see more of his team play with his 1.35 Hits per game and never having over 40 PIMs. Season 14 and 15 were his peaks. In Season 14 16 Goals and 31 Assists and in Season 15 it was 18 Goals and 29 Assists.

Rise of Kaspers Tsizling

Kaspers was drafted with the 15th OVA from the New England Wolfpack. Again the first 6 seasons (5 full seasons) he was part of New England after that he was a Manhattan Rage. Then followed by the Edmonton Blizzard and then 2 seasons for the Texas Renegades. Finally his last season was with the Seattle Riot, today Tampa Bay Barracuda. From Season 23 to Season 25 Kaspers won three times in a row the Turd Ferguson Trophy as Wolfpack. In Season 28 he again won the Turd Ferguson Trophy as Renegade.

Kaspers Tsizling his Career Numbers

In his 509 Games over his career he brought up 233 Points. As a Two Way Defender with more defensive upside that was a nice production. 0.46 Points per Game together with 3.04 Hits per Game and also 1.35 Blocks per Game show us his strong two way game. His 2.23 Penalty Minutes per Game also show us why he won the Turd Ferguson Trophy 4 times in his career. Because this trophy is always handed to the player with the most penalty minutes per season. The best overall season Kaspers had in Season 27 for the Texas Renegades. He brought up 2 Goals, 35 Assists, 182 Hits and also 79 Shot Blocks.

Ace Dafoe, the misunderstanding

Ace was drafted 48th OVA by the Winnipeg Jets in the Season 30 Draft. He spent two seasons in the SMJHL for the Prince Georgia Firebirds as Backup before being called up for Season 31 as Backup for the Winnipeg Jets. The hope was big for having the new future starter. But things turned into a disappointment and Ace was his full 5 Season as Jets Player just to be the Backup. After Season 35 he retired from Hockey.

Tigole Bitties says Hello to the SHL World

In Season 36 the Edmonton Blizzards selected Tigole Bitties with the 4th OVA Pick. He was 6 Seasons the part of the Edmonton Blizzard and moved for his 8 final seasons to the New England Wolfpack. He was voted to the All Rookie Team in Season 38. Also was a 5 time Allstar. In Season 38 he also won the Jesster Trophy as best rookie. In Season 44 and 45 he won the Jeff Dar Trophy as best Two Way Forward and was also in Season 42 nominated for the Ron Mexico Trophy as MVP of a Season. Later in his career he moved to defense and with that swap he also won the Scott Stevens Trophy in Season 47.

Bitties and his Career Stats

Bitties did play in 700 Games. 8 of them as Forward and 6 as Defender. His best season as Forward was in Season 42 as Edmonton Blizzard. His numbers were 29 Goals and 29 Assists. The best Season as Defender was in Season 47 with 11 Goals and 43 Assists. His 213 Goals, 398 Assists so 611 Points in 700 Games with that split career as Forward and Defender was very strong. In Season 53 he was inducted to the Hall of Fame. With 0.87 Points per Game, 1.77 Hits per Game and also 0.82 Shot Blocks per game over the total career that is well deserved.

Frans Eller to be here to prove something

Frans Eller was drafted by the New England Wolfpack with the 69th OVA (Head GM). In his career he spent all his 6 seasons with the new England Wolfpack and won in Season 55 the Ryan Jesster Trophy as best rookie.

Stats of Career for Frans Eller

Frans Eller won 109 Games of his 260 Career Games. His Career Save percentage is at 91,8% and he brought up 13 Shutouts. His 36.14 Saves per Game is a nice stat.

SMJHL Career by Bjorn Viggosson

Bjorn was drafted 22nd OVA from the Winnipeg Jets in the Draft Season 61. He never did play in the SHL but brought up two nice seasons for the Vancouver Whalers in the SMJHL. In Season 61 he had 20 Goals and 20 Assists. One Season later he brought up 23 Goals and 28 Assists. So potential was there but injuries ended his career way too early.

Lord Farquaads is the next in the pipeline

Lord was drafted in the 4th round at 67th OVA by the Winnipeg Aurora (Head GM) in the Season 65 Draft. In Season 72 Lord won the Cup with the Winnipeg Aurora. At his debut in Season 68 he started as Defender in his SHL career. In Season 71 he moved to Forward.

Lord of the Career Stats

Farquaads did play in 594 Games and brought up 525 Points. 0.88 Points per game, 1.59 Hits per Game and 1.03 Block per game shows us a nice team play performance as Defender and Forward in his career. His best Season was in Season 73 as he brought up 94 Points in 66 Games. 35 Goals and 59 Assists was on his scoring board in the end but also 137 Hits and 52 Shot Blocks.

Current Player is Pohler Beargeron

Pohler went undrafted (Head GM of Winnipeg) and his debut was in Season 80. For SMJHL he was named in the Defense All Star Team in Season 77. That was actually his 2nd season in the SMJHL. In season 78 he won the Ronan O’Keefe Trophy and was nominated for the Brodie Witzel Trophy and that all was as player for the Kelowna Knights. After his debut season in SHL he is actually nearly on the way for a point per game Season for the Winnipeg Aurora.

Career Stats so far for Beargeron

In his 119 Games so far Pohler brought up 33 Goals and 53 Assists. 86 Points and that is 0.72 Points.

We will see what the time will bring for Pohler Beargeron his career.
For Ace as a member I can say he had his ups and downs for created players. But he also did explain to me that it was also always a question for team needs and decisions as Head GM of SHL Teams. In my opinion, it is very well understood to think about the franchise first instead of the own player.
I have known Ace now for a very long time and I am happy to have met him in the past.
