Tonight, The whalers will be announcing the teams captains for the upcoming season. It was a tough choice as this season we have some candiates that could wear the letters but here we go starting with the guys wearing the a's.


MAGNUS JAKOBSEN will be wearing one of the A's on his jeresy this season, he looks to be a big part of this teams offence with his ability to score big goals in timely situation and be great in his own end. He isn't just wearing this letter due to his play on the ice but also the play off the ice, he has been through a junior season before and he knows how to hype his player up and be an active member of a locker room.


The next player that will be wearing an A is forward Jamie Seguin.

Jamie is a veteran player when it comes to the SMJHL, with his second season in the junior level, he might not been an impactful member last season but this year, he is a year older, and a year wiser than everyone else and he will be a star player for this whalers team. He will make a large impact up front and looks to be apart of duo with Jakobsen up front.


Now the Captain is a easy choice in my opinion, Waler "heisenberg" white, is a great puck moving defense-men that will be a calming player on and off the ice, he has built great defense-men before and he will look to show that he will be able to have success with more than 1 player. White " Heisenberg" will join a large group of captains that have been high draft picks like Dave Smith, Adam Johansen, Paavo Lepisto and Krivoskarov in recent years. Will he be the fourth captain in Whalers history to hoist the franchise 4th four stars cup.
