ever since the latest updating scale rookies have been less impactful than they were a couple of seasons ago. they don't have the same talent level and there isn't as many prospects coming as there use to be either. Rookies in the SHL usually spend some time developing in the SMJHL until they are ready to make a impact on their SHL squads. This isn't a tanking list just listing the rookies that could make an impact on their Simulation Hockey League team.

Max McDonald Jets

Centre - 50 games 7 goals 10 assists 17 points
Mcdonald is heading into his rookie season after leading his SMJHL team to their first ever Four stars cup championship. He is a leader on and off the ice and was the best player in my opinion in the post-season in the SMJHL. I don't think that he is the most ready rookie to dominate this season. I feel like he is a long term player that in a couple of seasons will be a top six forward and be a deadly offensive player.

Mr.Feeny Jets

Right Wing - 50 games 10 goals 6 assists 16 points
Feeny is going to play a silmar role as Mcdonald, a off the ice leader and he has a lot of influence around the league. He is the future of this very young Jets

team and will have a larger role when he plays himself onto one. I don't feel like he is going to play a large role this season.

Walter White Chiefs

Defence - 50 games 4 goals 13 assists 17 points
This smooth skating defence men will be playing a small role on a rebuilding club this season. I believe this role will be larger as the season comes on as he improves and becomes that stud top pairing defence men that he can be. He Is going to show some growing pains as the lack of veteran presence on this team will slow his talent down but he needs to be a leader of this team right away.

Saoul Commeunebotte Chiefs

Left Winger - 50 games 6 goals 7 assists 13 points
Saoul Brings a physical element to the game and he is going to be an effective role payer during his rookie season. He will open up the space and be very hard to play against. he has some untapped offensive potential but i don't think we are going to see that side of him right now. He is a very SHL ready player as a rookie and i think he would be perfect on a 3rd/4th line role for this team.

Thor Ludvigsen Chiefs

Centre - 50 games 5 goals 8 assists 13 points
Ludvigsen is pretty much the centre version of Commeunebotte. Physical two way forward that will make this team very hard to play against and won't be a impactful offensive player for a while as power forwards usually take some time to develop.

Chico Salmon Renegades

Centre - 50 games 4 goals 8 assists 12 points
The first overall pick in the SHL draft. He isn't the most talented player in the league and i don't feel like him getting drafted first overall was due to his skill level but to his character and how well liked he was with this organization and within the management teams around the league. Not saying that he is a bad player but i felt like there were more skilled and better options for a first overall pick. Salmon is excited to play on Texas a team that recently has won a challenge cup and he is promised that he is going to lead this team off the ice for a little bit. He won't have the largest impact on this team right away though. The pressure of making 7.5million dollars will get to him and him being first overall will put more pressure onto his shoulders the media is going to question this pick.

Xavier Gauthier Renegades

Defence - 50 games 5 goals 10 assists 15 points
Gauither is a smooth skating defence-men, he willn't be a player that has a major impact on the renegades unless something weird happens with the sim as he is commish and he might fire the simmer if he does a bad job of simming for him. I doubt that happen anyways as there would be a large uproar. Gauthier is a safe defence-men for this texas team and is going to be a rather large future piece of this team for years to come.

Slevin Kelevra Renegades

Defence - 50 games 3 goals 8 assists 11 points
Texas is getting younger and are in a retool period of their history right now. with three rookies on their team that are playing in the SHL and not the SMJHL like they did with important players like Jordin Fourfour and Bryde who are both going to play a rather large role on a retooling team taht looks to still be a championship calibre team. Kelevra a second round pick, will be a added presence to this young team on the back-end. I think he is going to be a more defensive player that an offensive this season.

Kein Monesti Rage

Centre - 50 games 8 goals 12 assists 20 points
the teams future number one centre, is going to be a big player on this team. The Rage might be the joke of the SHL but as they gather young prospects onto their team. They are improving every step they take now.I don't feel they are ready to win in the SHL right now but Monesti is going to be a start on this team. He needs to be as the Rage are looking for a player to step up and lead this team offensively. I feel he will do this and be a candiate for rookie of the year this season.

Simeon Mars III Rage

Defence - 50 games 7 goals 12 assists 19 points
Joining his teammate as one of the better rookies in this draft class rookie season. he was one of the better offensive d-men in the SMJHL. I feel that his offensive numbers will translate onto the SHL stage. he isn't going to be that near point per game pace that he was on down in the SMJHL but he is going to be an impactful rookie this season. The Rage have gotten two rookie is that will have a large role on their team right now.

Blame your Gm's if i missed you/ you were included and you are not playing in the SHL this season as i went by your GM's roster that is posted in the Head Office. This isn't the last piece of the season preview as next is the Award predictions. which will be my final preview article.
