The Gym I go too only has maximum 700. I do 700 and I make sure My knees are at my chest each rep.

Really? I have no idea lol, I have done a couple on 400lbs but at school we were going for a rep of 30-40 a minute at a constant speed. So in no way was pushing myself.

I had a friend who loved Leg Press, now he has back problems, Doctors said its cuz of the Leg Press but Idk If I believe the doctor :lol:

Form was probably off. Any lift done with the proper form and the proper amount of weight for one's body shouldn't do excessive damage...unless that individual is severely overtraining.
