At the bottom of the page, there's be a word count without all the quotes and such, in case the grader happens to be a bit lazy... Rolleyes

Yeap. It's been a while since the season ended for us, obviously, but still. I need money... again! Wink

Ask away. I *might* talk about people if you feel like it.

Answering Questions

It was quite nice, in a way. I mean, obviously, I was very pissed we were defeated after such a good advantage and the entire locker room was quite saddened, but realising the man who mentored a good portion of my rookie year and helped me a lot throughout the entire time in the junior league was quite an interesting "ironic" thing that I laugh at looking back (and ignoring the frustration of having lost).

Quote:Originally posted by Ballerstorm@Dec 14 2015, 02:22 PM<br />What do you and the Dragons have to do next season to get over the first round hump?

How close is this team to taking the cup?

What do you think of your season? Did you exceed your expectations, fall short, or did it go as you thought it would?

01) Make sure none of us stops practicing and further incorporating the younger guys in the team. The drafts we had in Season 24 and Season 25 saw plenty of brilliant guys becoming Dragons, and as the older ones continue to get better and the new ones continue to incorporate themselves in the team, I don't see how we could possibly struggle to get over this situation and eventually be contending in the later rounds.

02) Very close. Let's say, one-year-of-Randleman-and-Co.-development close. I was staggered by the talent we were able to get in the aforementioned drafts, and the future is bright if we stick as a team. I'm confident we'll have a deep run this coming season and most likely a cup in the next three years.

03) I won't say it was a frustration or "just like I thought would". However, I didn't expect any less. If you take a look at how quickly we recovered in some seasons from being one of the worst and how there was still plenty of talent to reveal itself in the pros, I was sure we would come out big. I was afraid we'd do a bit worse in the regular season, and hoping for a bit better in the postseason, though - so you could call the former a pleasant surprise and the latter a bit of a lamentable thing.

What is your favorite part about being a Dragon?

Did you ever recover from your rookie Hazing? Would you like to see that tradition brought back in Calgary?

You're GM has stated that you are a cornerstone part of the organization, what qualities on and off the ice do you think make you so valuable?

Did you enjoy playing with Michael Boychuk this season or have you secretly grown tired of him and wish you could play with someone else?

You set a career high in Hits, Blocks and +/- this season. Would you say that you've found your game?

What's it like to live in a country (Brazil) with the most beautiful women in the world? Why have you not posted more pics of said women in the Dragons LR?

Do they have Chicken Parm in Brazil?

Compare women in Brazil to women in Calgary, using food as an example.

Dragons

01) Chicken Parm, for sure. I already loved it when I joined, and the locker room has only gotten better. The oldies, my contemporaries, the newbies... everyone is nice. And, considering the community is all I really care about, that makes me extremely happy. (Even if I cared about performance, I'd still be happy though.)

02) The people you get to have around you, the GM included. I love the atmosphere you get in the LR - your way of drafting contributes to that a lot, as well. I really do feel we're not only getting good players, but also great members.

03) Yes. I didn't plan on saying it at the time not to be punished further, but I found it not too bad. Which is nice.

04) Well, none? I'm not that valuable. Damn, these dishonest GMs! I guess I'm slightly below the "too annoying!" level, though, so maybe drafting me wasn't entirely a mistake. :-?

05) Nah, I find it awesome to play with Boychuk. He's one of two - maybe three - people I recall knowing before even joining this website, and he's a great friend. Being able to have a linemate like that is something that really makes this environment even better than it already is naturally.

06) Perhaps. Although I've initially planned to be a two-way defenseman, my focus this past season really has become acquiring a more responsible type of game on defense - and I hope (and think) I might've found it, which is very nice. I just wish it had been enough to help the team more, though.

07) LOL. This type of question again. It doesn't make a difference when you're a majorly anti-social kid, honestly. And I don't post pictures like that because I'm not a pervert. Simple as that. Tongue

08) I'm fairly uncertain. I don't really know a lot about food - not in my country, not outside of it.

09) Ugh... I really don't know. In both cases, every boy seems to dedicate their lives to an attempt of getting to them, whereas I just don't care enough. So... it's like any dish from a fancy restaurant?

Looking back to the past season or two, is there anything you would have changed in how you developed your player?

Will Pergher/Boychuk go down as one of, if not the best Calgary pairing ever?

Explain how The Notorious Conor McGregor was able to KO a man who has been undefeated for over 10 years in Jose Aldo. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then Google it and explain.

If you could choose another name for the Calgary Dragons, what would it be? Names not to choose: Dragons, Wranglers, Flames, Hitmen, Stampeders,

01) Boychuk is one of the best picks in the S23 Draft, and definitely the best Dragon out of that class. Your player has been improving steadily, being able to make good offensive contribution while being very valuable in our own end. I can't really say that about Pergher, though... I have tried to be more focused on my defense than you, it seems, and yet the only season in which that's apparent based on statistics was the last one, because you're great in that department - while also humiliating me on offense. Ultimately, I'm just glad I've got a high quality partner like yourself to work with, and I feel that, as we continue to grow, our styles will really complement each other.

02) Nothing major, no, but perhaps I should've spent more points on discipline. When I look at my PIMs, it's not something I find particularly pleasing, even though I have put a decent amount of hits to explain why they're there.

03) Not sure if that's a possibility for as long as the "Pergher" name is in there. Wink However, I definitely hope the fans will remember us for some time, as I don't plan on going anywhere and it seems that's a valid thing to be said about you as well. We may not become the most popular pairing, but we'll definitely do what we can to make the fans proud!

04) José Aldo is Brazilian, so he was probably thinking about new ways of being immature and promiscuous, which may have caused him to lose focus.

05) If you didn't impose those exceptions, I would've gone with Calgary Wranglers. Maybe the Calgary Charizards?

I'll leave the final say to the professionals, but I assume not. After all, if we're the same person... there's nothing virtual about being inside yourself. It's as real as it gets.

Shout Outs

ORIGINSZ
One of the most experienced Whalers back when I joined. You were very helpful with building my player, and I attribute a great portion of my minor league success to you. After I left, you continued to be one of the most helpful members, even becoming co-GM. To me, it seemed natural that a guy with your knowledge and willingness to help young members would eventually be promoted, and, fortunately enough, that happened. You were a great addition to the team of commissioners, so just keep doing what you're doing!

Ballerstorm
One of the brilliant picks made by Esa in recent drafts. Not only are you a phenomenal player, you're an excellent member as well. I'm glad we get to share an LR with each other, and I look forward to seeing you become one of the best in the league and making history with the Dragons.

Dangles13
The most recent success story in Vancouver. I like you a lot, bud. You've always been a huge presence in our LR, and always knew how to handle situations - even when the team seemed a bit shaky and we were at the center of attention. Hamilton was extremely smart in drafting you, as I'm sure you'll be able to adapt your proficiency and maturity to the professional league.

Steelhead77
The first guy to contact me aside from my recruiter Nuck. You helped me with my starting build, answered a bunch of questions... and I was fortunate enough to be drafted to your SHL team. I was very excited, and I still am. You're a marvelous GM, and I have nothing but appreciation for all the effort you put into this - you make the locker room atmosphere remarkably positive. I'm also thankful you trusted me enough to take me at number 4; hopefully some day I'll make the organisation proud and make the pick worth it.

DollarAndADream
One of the guys I knew before I even joined the site. Once I saw you were in my draft class, I knew you'd be a great defender and most likely leave me behind. I didn't expect, however, to be drafted to the same team as you - and consequently be put in the same line and spend most of my development alongside your developing player. It was a surprise, but the good type of surprises. You know how to build a player and you're an awesome guy. Hope we can spend many more seasons to come in Calgary and write some history.

Bojo
That sympathetic guy that everyone likes. You're a great member - that is also undeniable. You've been very kind to everyone, and talking to you is always a pleasure. I do hope you started making podcasts again, though, dangit. <_<
