Check the text anti aliasing (it's to the right of the size at the top of the screen), change it to smooth and that might help you

Done that Undecided unfortunately doesn’t work

Is there a way to change the resolution without changing the image size?

send an exemple of what you mean

And not really, the dpi is only for printing, the screen resolution is based on the pixels your chose and your monitor

Your adjustment layers are causing the problem. See, most of the time, when working on a 8 bits canvas, you'll get those ''steps'' because there just not enough color depth to work with. I won't get into the technical side of this, but whenever you're creating a font, the font always has some ''steps'' of lighter grey to smooth the edges (considering your font is white) so the edges aren't so hard. That is called anti aliasing.

However, when you are jacking the contrast/exposure, those grey pixels become white, therefore, you lose the smooth edges the anti aliasing made. (because there's not enough shade of greys in a 8 bit picture) see below

In this scenario, you had, 4 adjustment layers just to play with the contrast (the exposure, the levels, the curves and the gradient map), so I'll be more gentle and add less of those. AN alternative is to put the text above those adjustment layers, and it might work.

The other solution is to reduce the exposure slider and it might work

oh gotcha, that makes sense as i always add text after those layers. Ill have to put the text above those i guess as i love messing with the lighting and shit through the layers.

Thanks for the help!
