Another season has come to an end, but this time a Championship was raised over the heads of the St. Louis Scarecrows. There is so much I want to say, but it's hard to find the words after all the celebrating still going on here in St. Louis, but I'll give it my best shot.
3 seasons ago I became a post draft player able to sign with any team. Completely new to this experience, one person went out of his way to help me quickly become accustomed to how things work here, and as the offers came in, the one I chose happened to come from the very same helpful person. @TML99 @JKortesi81 I have no idea where I'd be if it wasn't for your kind and helpful nature, I cannot thank you enough for giving me the chance to sign with such an amazing team. Getting the chance to play on the 3rd line my first year with both @Nictox and @DannyMethane was essential to my current abilities. @SlashACM your rise as one of the best goalies in our teams history has been very enjoyable to witness. Last season was a very hard one for me both on and off the ice. Making it all the way to the finals and losing to the Whalers was tough, but losing close family members in my sister and nephew during that time has been the hardest thing in my personal life I've ever had to endure. I was absent from alot around that time, but it helped me (even if for just a little) being apart of that playoff run. This season was one of making a dream become a reality for me. I was determined to win a Championship back when I was first offered the chance to join the Scarecrows, and being able to make it a reality was great. Last season I dedicated to my recently deceased loved ones, and I'm dedicating both my game 3 and cup winning goals to them this season. I believe that hockey has the best feel good moments of any sport and being able to score both of those goals (2 of the most important goals of the playoffs.) after the emotional pain I endured proves that to me more than ever. To Jen and to Charles, I love you more than words can ever express. As of right now I don't know for sure if I'll be returning to St. Louis or if I'll be making my way up to the San Francisco Pride. I personally don't have a strong preference either way so if anyone wants to sway me one way or the other I'm all ears. (@Grapehead @tweedledunn ) For those that will be moving up, I wish you all the best and look forward to playing against you (and maybe one day together again.) in the future. For those that do return to St. Louis (both upcoming rookies and returning players), I know you'll do your best to defend our crown. * After much thought and talking with both @JKortesi81 and @Grapehead I am happy to announce that I will be returning to St. Louis for one final season! I look forward to defending our Championship.* I want to thank everyone I didn't mention, both current and past teammates, fans, and family. I'll forever be proud to have been a member of the Scarecrows. This Championship is just as much yours as it ours! Now I need to get back to the party before Cain and Freeman @Allen finish all of those bottles of alcohol. GO CROWS! Good luck next season! (Word Count: 601)

@CanadianDuck , you’ve been a class act since Day 1. I’m so happy you were able to score two HUGE goals for us on our cup run!
If I have a chance to sway you to stick around St. Louis, let me say this: Few people in this league are lucky enough to win a Four Star Cup. Even fewer get a chance to defend it. Besides, a top line of Moyer - Freeman - Fleming sounds amazing. The MFers!

@CanadianDuck it always sucks to hear about the loss of family and I can't imagine going through what you've gone through. You have my sympathy, love, and friendship

Congrats on the championship, and good luck defending it next season! I won't be in the SMJHL in S45 so I can cheer for the Crows
