- Leafs+Eakins had an agreement on a deal 3 weeks ago.
- Zigo and Kadri day-to-day. Not guaranteed to come back though.
- Frattin should be ready to go for start of the season
- Want to put together the best possible goalie tandem. That includes those in the system, trades, and free agency.
- Teams aren't really talking trades yet. Quiet on the trade front. Expects it to pick up as soon as the playoffs are over.
- Says Eakins will be a coach in the NHL. Wasn't ready to step into the limelight just yet. Wanted to stay in Toronto for at least 1 more year.
- Says their position hasn't change on SIGNING "wonky" deals. But says "we have to look at every possibility" when it comes to TAKING ON those deals depending on which players are involved.
- Says they don't have a problem with offer sheets, but they do have a problem with inflationary contracts that are double what the player's worth.
- Doesn't feel like there's more organizational pressure than in the past. They won't strip down what they've built up for short-term gain.
- Want to add young players to the group. Marlies are a good indication that young players are getting close, and a few are scratching at the door of the big club.
- Want to add a goaltender and a top 6 forwards, but also won't lose focus of improving the whole organization. They'll look to make multiple moves to improve every part of the team.

Of everything he talked about the bolded stood out to me
