Sig 1: 9/10 = 950K
The player render is manipulated wonderfully, and the blue flare is a great contrast to add a little excitement. the distortion and filters to cover the penguins logo are a thoughtful application, as well as helping the player blend in seamlessly. the edge framing the player and background elements is very aggressive, but it works very well. The grading standards are harsh signatures without jersey swaps, or an SHL tie in, but the obscuring of the penguins logo, and the clever application of the other elements is enough for me to feel good about bumping this score up. Great color control! The text is also top notch (that other flash of blue is used very well).

Sig 2: 8/10 = 825k
The minimalist background is really underutilized on this site and the gray works really well, and its complemented by the helmet and shoulder flares. the ghosted/reversed image doesn't add too much. The text is my favorite aspect by far. The player render looks great and the contrast control looks very good, but i wish there was a darker black.

Sig 3: 7/10 = 700K
Like the last signature, the gray looks great and the flares and their paired gradients are very well utilized. unfortunately i find that this one falls a bit flatter than the previous, as the darkest black is the background gray. While it blends in nicely, your flare placement should allow a darker lower shoulder and a light (faded into the background) top of shoulder.

Sig 4: 8/10 = 825K
Interesting background choice, but it definitely works and i like the nonconventional. the player's lighting is manipulated wonderfully to highlight all of the action and emotion in the face, and the bokeh in the corner vignettes it wonderfully, as does the flare in the top right. The bright whites in the visor, clashing with the dark shadows around the eyes, mouth guard, and background really creates depth. The font is intersting and matches the chaos of the background. I'm not sure why the distortion (liquify?) on the bottom of the text bothers me so much. lots of people do it and i dont think it makes sense in most situations. in this one it does and it looks good.

Total Payout = 3.4M x 2 = 6.8M
