First Few Minutes of the Second Period.

Welcome back to the start of period number 2 between the Kelowna Knights and Your Montreal Militia!
The first period seemed to be one of a feeling out process and we seen some good hits.
Not to mention, the Montreal Goaltender standing on his head on a few plays and looking very sharp.
At times the chant of AOV here at the Bell Center is deafening.
Neither team was able to score on a the chances they had and I would give the slight edge to the Knights in that period.
They had to feel good about themselves heading into the locker room tied.
It isn't easy coming in as the underdogs to a hostile environment playing the 2nd ranked team and possibly the best team in the league.
Not to take anything away from St. Louis but here at the Montreal Radio Network I am a little biased.
Both teams had one power play each but the penalty killers did their job.

Now the teams are ready and the puck is just about to be dropped!
Marc Hagan against Scherbak at dead Center!
Hagan comes away with it and gets the puck over to Klozoff who moves the puck into the Knights Zone.
He stops near the boards and passes it over to the Commander. Commander Shepard loses the puck but Klozoff comes over to re-gain control.
Now he passes it over to Skottson this time who sends it right back to Klozoff as the Militia try to set something up.
Klozoff passes over to Truong who skates the puck towards the net and fires off a wrister!
Barry Batsbak got in the way of that shot for the block! The Swede Skottson picks up the rebound.
He passes it over to the Commander and the puck goes over the glass on a deflection.
The Knights were calling for a penalty but the Ref indicated a tip. Face Off outside the Knights Zone.
The Commander against Scherbak this time. The Commander wins the face off and gets it over to Sarantez.
He dumps it into the Knights zone. Goaltender Grande plays the puck and passes it to Big Fudge.
Fudge works the puck to center ice but O'Dowd picks his pocket! He passes over to Svensson now.
The Militia work it back into the Knights Zone. A log jam up against the boards and the Refs let them dig it out.
The Irishman, Sarantez gets control and passes it over to Jaguar Johnson who doesn't hesitate and fires it on net.
Grande kicks it out with his right pad but Rookie Sensation Ravyn Tedisko taps it in for the first goal of the game!
Oh Michael, Michael Motorcycle and I'll be cowkicked! That was some serious crashing of the net!
The Militia Faithfull are out of their minds and the Militia Players huddle up, congratulating the rookie for her first ever playoff goal!

Now back to the game as the Refs got control once again and the players set up for the Face Off.
Credited with that goal is the Rookie Ravyn Tedisko and she was assited by Jaguar Johnson and Padraig Sarantez  at 1:04 of the first period!
Alright it looks like we have Sharp against Angello in the circle... wait a minute! Seems the Ref threw Sharp out of the circle.
Ok, now Soderberg takes his place and gets set against Angello. Soderberg wins the puck and gets it over to David Vent of the Knights.
Vent dumps it into the Militia Zone and Dirk Von Grimm Recovers it for the Militia. He passes over to Herry Morris the Fourth.
Morris Skates it over the blue line into the Knights Zone. He winds up and takes the shot! Grande is on top of it and holds onto it in his glove.
Svensson against Josef in the Knights Zone now. Svensson wins the face off and passes to the Jaguar. JJ shoots the puck!
Tedisko for the tip and Touncie Bitties saves the puck from going into the net! Oh my what a play that almost resulted in a 2-0 lead!
Heck of a defensive save by Touncie! The puck bounces over to Svensson and he gets it back to O'Dowd. Back to Tedisko. 
Tedisko trys to get it cross ice but Touncie intercepts it. O'Dowd hustles and tracks the puck down from Touncie. Back to Tedisko now in the neutral zone.
Touncie still hounding and gets the puck from Tedisko and passes over to Malichov. He dumps it into the Montreal Zone and both teams make changes!
O'Dowd gets control and waits for Zalapski. Zalapski up to Angello but it gets intercepted by Gunnar Soderberg back in the neutral zone.
Pass over to Vent back in the Montreal Zone now. Pass to Zach. Zach takes a shot and misses the net. Bobby Sharp digs it out for the Knights.
Sharp skates near the net, turns around and lets one fly! Oh my goodness... Aleksi O'Koivu-Volkova makes another amazing glove save and the fans let him hear it!!
