We’re going to the closest planet to the Sun, eternally baked in the solar heat (except at night).
Mercury, the smallest planet in the solar system (even smaller than two moons), is perhaps the last place where one would expect hockey. Yet at the north pole, there are craters perpetually in shadow, making it cold enough for ice to form and stay. And you know what that means! Hockey time! Did someone say hockey? Yes, I did. Mercury is playing… alone. The other team never showed up. And the puck drops! And they have it, and then they have it… one hour later Argh… then… argh… I… er… How long are periods on Mercury? ...THREE EARTH DAYS PER PERIOD?!?! Listen, I know that Mercury rotates very slowly, but come on! I don’t have time! There needs to be a rule in the SHL for this! I’m out of here. Inform me what the score is at the end of the game. Once you're done with real-life ones, I'd suggest Corneria from Star Fox.
