I agree. I think that 5th overall would have been great for West Kendall, but to compete now they need an Elite Defenseman, at least until Bojo starts pushing into the upper echelon of TPE.

Not often I'm going to agree with 701, but I agree with him here, and I haven't even been back that long.

The guy who made a real headscratching trade shouldn't be questioning a good one, even with regression, Cant is still active, he'll be a top defender for a while, a draft pick isn't exactly guaranteed, but the Hawks are having to go full rebuild, don't have much of a choice, got to take risks for the future and stuff.
