Gfx are already too subjective. Something that gets a 6 is a 10 to someone else. Podcasts are the easiest of the 3 media to do and pay the best. Gorlab is also very generous with the grading, I would be much more stiff if he didn't have a say.

No. He's not. At least when it comes to people he doesn't like.
The problem with the rubric as suggested is that one person's 10 podcast is another person's 8 or 6. Then in the case of people like Gorlab, he will grade you lower just because he doesn't like you. He's done it before, he'll do it again. I don't trust his integrity.

Exactly. I've seen tons conversations where Jala/Luna have gone to Gorlab and asked if they could/should mark down someone for going a bit off topic or something, and Gorlab has said that there's no reason to. Gorlab is a fairer grader than you're giving him credit for.

I don't have any issues with you, but that's a pretty fucking stupid thing to say. A) You have no evidence to back that up, and B) It's just flat out incorrect. I was grading a podcast YOU did with Nike and Merica and gorlab told me not to worry about a little bit of off-topic chatter. Nike and Merica were giving you the business and I was going to mark you down for it because that's not SHL related, but GORLAB told me not to worry about it. Last I checked, gorlab doesn't like you, but he knows his role in the league and won't let petty shit interrupt what you're owed. If you were going off-topic like you guys did, I wouldn't be surprised if he docked you for that, but that's not screwing you out of anything. There's other graders, so make sure you're clear on who graded you before you throw ridiculous accusations out there.

For people saying that we should grade podcasts based on quality, that is out of the question completely because it's guaranteed going to generate 10x more bitching than there already is.
One podcast a week. Simple. Don't like it, then go talk to dparker or the BoD and then if they agree with you and force me to change it, I will. Otherwise, edit your 15 three minute podcasts into one file (ITS NOT HARD) and upload it for the week.

Also since I'm on a computer instead of my phone, I can actually share my thoughts.
1) gorlab makes the payouts. If he feels there's merit behind one podcast at a one hour cap, there's more of a reason behind it then you think.
2) Hiring more people to jobs that aren't needed isn't the solution to a problem a small handful of people have. That just furthers money inflation.
Let's look at the inflation of increasing podcasts. Using maxy's 2.25 mill cap and a proposed 4 podcast limit, and what the hell, we'll add in mcplardy grading podcasts. Basing it off a 6 week regular season/playoffs.
4 podcasts x 2.25 million = 9 million
9 million x 6 weeks + 4 million(i think?) grader pay = 58 million
58 million - 6 million training = 52 million
So, you make 52 million at the end of 6 weeks AFTER training. Why do you need so much money? Add in contracts, jobs, media articles and GFX and you gross over 75 million a season easily with no real money sinks.
3) Podcasts are so easy to do. Most on here don't even come up with their own material, they just have questions asked to them and answer them. I heard one podcast where the member was just reciting stats and trying to mask it with some sort of relevance. The podcast rubric and payout is very lenient compared to GFX and more forgiving then media articles.
4) A lot of podcasts are poorly done with no preparation and production value. Recording before all members join the podcast, a lot of dead air and huming and hawing. Podcasts here are very forgiving and allow people new to them to take time and learn how to do it while being paid the full amount. That's a positive as it helps those who don't podcast often to grow into them and improve them as they move on.
5) If you feel your podcasts are so great, then post them for people to enjoy. You have up to an hour from podcasts, plus GFX and medias to make money.
