<div align="center">Boston, MA:: The date for the Season 22 entry draft for the SMJHL Season was just announced today by Commish JMan. Let the chaos begin as all draftees try to up their draft stock to be the most sought after prospect of this draft. Here I will give you who, in my opinion, will be the most wanted among the teams and a reason why. Comments are appreciated, I don't care if you rip on me, write your own.
6. C - SCHNITINFRITZ JAGR The sixth most sought after prospect in this draft is going to be Schnitinfritz Jagr. I am honestly very surprised that there has not been too much talk on this guy. From his first days setting his mind out for the SMJHL, he has been training and getting better. Jagr looks to be one of the better balanced centers in the draft as he has focused his talents on Passing, Scoring, and Faceoffs which easily seems like a no-brainer for a prospect that wants to succeed. Based on his past in the SHL, I think this guy will definitely be someone that the GMs look towards for an easy pick on a player that should be pretty successful. 5. D - VIKTOR SVENSSON The fifth most sought after prospect is the two-way defenseman out of Sweden, Viktor Svensson. Though Harry seems to have quite an up and down tenure in the SHL, I think he is a guy that really can bring a lot to any SMJHL franchise. He definitely knows how to build a player which can bring leadership to any squad. He is a great guy in the locker room which also should be something GMs look to. This is another guy that has spent a lot of his time in the weight room doing some strength training. I really think Svensson will be a quality player at the next level and one of the better specs to come out of the SMJHL. 4. D - LUKAS JOHNSON Sucking up isn't my thing, so the 4th most sought after prospect is the commish himself, Lukas Johnson. Obviously, Johnson is a sure thing as it gets in this draft, but I am just not convinced that he will be as good as Nugent-Hall was. He had more time to do everything then, so this player could take a hit. I still see Johnson as an all-star on the next level, but I am not putting him at the top of this list, just yet. He'll probably hate me now and prove me wrong, but this is where you end up Johnson. 3. RW - DR. TIMETURNER WHOOVES With her husband now having the baby duties, I think Whooves gets the 3 spot in this draft. Sto-Helit honestly came out of nowhere and surprised a lot of people and I think this player will do the same. I am fully confident that Whooves will be a top pick in this draft as well as the SHL draft the year after. She has proven that she can build players and improve them at a fast pace. Her scoring ability mixed with her passing and skating will easily propel her to a top level and won't let me down. GMs should look to this player and take a second look and debate taking with their first pick. 2. RW - ASBJØRN ALEXANDERSEN Alexandersen and the top guy were two in which I was really going back and forth on. I think both will become extremely good players, but for some reason, I liked the other one a little better. This guy will be a scorer, no question about it. Put the puck on this guy's stick and the puck will end up in the back of the net. His other skills are not exactly developed yet, but put him with the right players and this guy is a MVP candidate easily. He needs to play with players that will put the puck on his stick, that is the only issue. Playmaking center would make this player great as he develops the rest of his skills, which I am not exactly worried about. You can't go wrong with this guy. 1. C - MAXIM GOLUBEV My number one prospect of this draft is Maxim Golubev. If you can pair up the top two prospects on my list, that would be one hell of a line. For some reason, I really just like playmakers more than just pure snipers which is why I went this way. I really think that both guys will be extremely successful. Another guy that knows how to build a player and provide the leadership that you would want on your team. I think he is a sure thing as well. HONORABLE MENTION: RW - BJORN KNUTSEN RW - DAVID BENSON Both guys can be sleepers in this draft, I would keep an eye on both of these as well. </div> Quote:824 Words, 1 Pic Thank you OrbitingDeath! <3

Unless you're a surefire amazing prospect the chances of going in the first round is a bit low. You pretty much have to have Pentecost level TPE and activity before the draft to push yourself in front of the recreates that have established retired players with tons of TPE. Doesn't really matter where you're picked in the SMJHL draft as long as you're drafted by Kelowna
