That's true, but there's a need for some boundaries as well. For example NoBradyNoBanner and Bun's suspension in my opinion was right. There's no need to drag real life photos and insult the person by writing something stupid on their pictures or something like that. But calling someone a *****, idiot, fucker or anything like it shouldn't be worth a suspension. Most of the people here are just saying shit because they are not that kind of person in real life. But if you cross the line and start using real life photos or threatening to kill someone or saying that someone should be killed, than 3 day posting ban is just the thing you need.

And, one thing more. Every suspension right here has a trigger (a person who makes this shit happen by saying something that offends someone in a way, but that person never gets suspended)

I've liked the idea of monetary fines as it hurts the person specifically not the team itself and would force them to do some work here through media, pressers, etc pumping the activity level up in return.

Yeah, that's why I'm not commenting on those ones. Those were warranted. Had they just made that joke they wouldn't have gotten suspended. Actual pictures were too far. And yeah, exactly with the trigger bit. These are all direct results of someone being antagonised and retorting, then the antagonist or someone getting butthurt and reporting it. I've been called some mean names after acting like an ass, but I didn't go reporting it afterwards cuz my feelings got hurt. You reap what you sow. All I can hope is that from now on punishment gets applied consistently.

Jogurtaa if someone's dragging you out of your patience, then you should just stay queit and don't say anything. The same in real hockey. We've got a lot of players who are just trying to drag their opponents out of their patience so they would "hit" them back harder and get a minor penalty. These are players like Leo Komarov.
