The SHL's battle against TPE inflation Regression

If someone wants to stay active and updating for 30 seasons and the reason is because they like having their player…then WTF not let them Smile)

Because it makes no sense like I have wrote in this thread. It's detrimental. Easily hit max stats, generic players, no space for new players, etc. It's basically everything I have typed in this entire thread plus the article.

And also update scale becomes useless. why make it in the first place.
Regression becomes a non-factor. Why have percentage, making player updaters work hard when you can have fixed regression like we had before (all stats decreased by a number). Why change it in the first place.

But for the hundreth time if you do this then new players will suffer while players that have already banked TPE will just be walking and having their players for 30 seasons.

Deal?

your explanation for why it's detrimental is because there is too many good players.
which makes absolutely no sense.

easily hit max stats…okay?
generic players...like i said, i wouldn't mind seeing 3 weaknesses
no space for new players…expansion (very simple)

Problem is it doesn't happen.
People get bored and retire.
Just make it harder to get TPE.. sure some people will have a harder go of it.
But the older people will retire because it is boring as fuck being maxed out.

NO ONE STAYS WITH A PLAYER LONG AFTER IT IS MAXED

What doesn't happen?
This doesn't prove that we shouldn't change anything and ignore the obvious problem. This is an ignorant's way of saying it. Basically saying , no data to prove anything so i'll just say this.
But how about those older people that don't want to retire? Basically they'll just be strolling sipping on beer because everything's already been given to them.

NO ONE? Any data on this? Hallsy has 16 seasons, Scherbluk has 17 seasons, Weber has 15 seasons. I'm pretty sure I can find more old players so it's not NO ONE

If someone wants a long career with a player and puts in the time and effort to bank the TPE to do so, I don't see this as a bad thing. Especially with the depth we have now with some players not even getting of the SMJHL until after their 3rd season...

5 or so players out of what? a few 100? less than 5% of people? That is close enough to no one Smile)

Decrease the amount of TPE people get per season. DONE that is the solution to the problem you say I'm ignoring.

Regression isn't too weak, the amount of TPE people get is too much.
You are misdiagnosing the problem.

Also I didn't say nothing should be done. Give out less TPE, have 3 weaknesses.

Don't increase regression... if you do. Only increase it after 15 seasons. Not 10-15.

Very few people extend their careers past what, 16 seasons. Its nice to have one or two Jagrs in this league. It adds to the legend and folklore of this league. I do think some changes might be needed to be made. But I think we need to be wary of any changes that put caps on how long a career may be.

It's still not 'no one' even though it's close to no one. It's still a number to be not considered as 'no one'

I'm not misdiagnosing the problem. Read my article please.
If people get less TPE, but enough TPE to max out their players, then the current regression is shit. Read the article. It's their 10th season of regression that will actually matter

unless if you are saying that we give TPE but not enough for all players to max. Then the players that have maxed out TPE and have TPE banked, will be dominant forever because no one will be maxed, which means no one will be able to reach those players while they will continue to update to be maxed.

I would actually like data from you that proves that regression isn't a problem because I have provided it and it says that regression is too weak.

Impossible to continue to get new members/players without MASSIVE expansion or getting rid of 350 TPE for send downs. Ill be at 350 by seasons end. No way a 350 TPE player like myself supplants a 1500 TPE Jordin FourFour. Or any SHL goalie for that matter.

What if it's just banked TPE for pre SHL and get rid of TPE when you are in SHL
