lol 16 plates **

Unless you meant 6 plates each side, which is not too far off.

Woah woah woah. I don't think I know what you mean by plate. Because when I say plate I mean 45 pound plates. Are you trying to say you can leg press 720?

Or are we on different pages when it comes to terminology?

According to the internet, 160 is the ideal, 143-178 is a good range.

Completely depends.. I am 160 (after not lifting for a long time).

I want to get around 180. I have a friend who is 5 foot 10 and plays NCAA basketball and he weighs 195.

Edit: Oh and I am 5 foot 11. Maybe 6 foot. Havent checked in a year or two.

Ideal weight is kinda stupid though, it's more for people who are just normal, non-athletic.

Never will you see someone who plays sports at their medically 'ideal weight' for their height, most likely since they are more muscular, and muscle is heavier than fat.

On the topic of weight and sports, I just found out this year that all NHL teams lie (outrageously) about height and weight.

I knew teams upped some players weight but not at the rate that they actually do. Its crazy. Once I found that out I realized how idiotic it is for some players to be listed at their weight.

No way is Douglas Murray 5 pounds heavier than Joe Thornton. Thornton listed at 235, murray at 240. Murray is actually 275.

Rule of thumb, add 20 pounds to the big guys, and take away 15 pounds on the smaller guys. Just some fun NHL facts.

I believe it especially for small guys...most of them are built like tanks, yet are listed at 150, 160? Yeah right, I'm not built anywhere near them and weigh that at 5'7, and am not fat by any means either.

Im pretty sure most of the smaller guys have an extra inch or two added to their heights and 10-20 pounds.

My friend who told me about this (Scouting assistant in SJ) said that players like Stephen Gionta are waaay lighter than they say. Gionta is around 160 when he is listed at 185.

Stamkos is also no taller than 5 11 yet listed at 6 foot 1. Ive learned that almost every single San Jose player isnt what they are listed as.
