O'Callahan put up those points in his 2nd and 3rd season...playing heavy top line minutes and heavy powerplay minutes, something you are currently getting a lot of and unlike you, that tends to pile the totals up rather quickly.

You are playing 30 minutes a game on two lines, on the powerplay, firing pucks left right and center and not having hit the ten point mark by the midway point of the season yet you talk more shit then anyone.

I talk shit because Merica can carry mediocre teams by himself, because everywhere he has gone success has followed and he has been a direct reason for that success. Because even last season in a down year of 45 points, he rebounded with 9 goals in the first round of the playoffs, single-handedly carrying the offense into the second round. I can talk all the shit I want, because I back it up.

If you want to claim that Dean Colt is on pace to become just as good as two of the best players in the SHL, both of whom are first-ballot hall of famers and O'Callahan himself is one of the best players in SHL history, then I point you to your current career trajectory:

4th season in league:
Colt- 17 points
Merica- 41

5th season in league:
Merica- 50
Colt- 17 pts in 22 games

Sure, make excuses about not getting as many minutes, blah blah, and I will point you to the reason for that, because your player is nothing special and has been COMPLETELY one-dimensional his entire career. You don't get PP time because Colt is terrible offensively, you cant use that in your argument, its your own fault.

You continually reference this season when talking about my player, and completely ignore everything else he has done or what he is capable of, and somehow you think that because Merica is having a bad season that means I can't say anything and my opinion is moot. Smile

Furthermore this thread isn't supposed to be about my player, so STOP FUCKING TRYING TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT and distract attention away from the fact that you think Colt is good enough to not only replace O'Callahan, but is worth more than he is in a trade.

Dean Colt is average. In his first four seasons he was a below-average depth player. This season he has been better, and because of how below-average he has been in the past you seem to think he is amazing all of a sudden, when really, as I said already, he is average.

There is absolutely nothing that indicates that Dean Colt is going to be as good as Carter O'Callahan. You are LITERALLY pulling shit out of your ass to make this argument.
