they should trade their 1st rounder for a package of lower picks
then trade half of those for their GM players

So new teams just because they are new should be gifted top picks despite the fact there are teams that do not have the luxury of being "shiny and new" and are proven to be horrible?
There should be a few top-tier free agents who will be jumping ship to offset the fact they won't be getting a lot in the expansion draft.
I think over exaggerating and using sarcasm is not an appropriate way to discuss the issue, especially when there are plenty of valid opinions on the subject.
