If you want to believe you know more than refs or former refs then that is fine man. Doesn't mean I am going to agree with you. Hopefully you don't report me for that

“The first rule change prohibits a runner or tackler from initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet outside the tackle box,†the video’s narrator says. “There are three components to this foul: First, the player must line up his opponent. Second, he must lower his head. And third, he must deliver a forcible blow with the crown of his helmet to any part of his opponent’s body. The crown is the very top of the helmet. This rule was designed not only to protect the player receiving the blow, but also the player delivering it. Violations of this rule will result in 15-yard penalties for unnecessary roughness, and potential discipline. "not a penalty" despite if you were to descibe it to someone, it would be a text book cover of the rule    some people man. Well when your not instigating you wouldn't get reported. Simple fix if you ask me.

Yeah I have to agree with JT. I have seen more often than not them call a runner a live target for hitting (yes even with the crown of the helmet). NFL is strange because they act differently than the other two leagues I watch (CFL/NCAA).
I do have to say, the "arguing for the sake of arguing" is somewhat of a skewed comment if you have stated you aren't a Bengals fan but are arguing it to the death. LA Panthers Goaltender Banned Banned

I see him graze the helmet, but hit the point of his shoulder blade. I don't know, a little different than what is being described. Still don't see it as a dirty hit.
