The S28 Draft Class Ranked by TPE
#1

Hello Folks!

Drum Bongwater from KFAN Radio here with the intitial installment of our yearly Draft Prospect Scouting Reports

While the fans and players are still largely caught up in the current playoff race, the Draft still looms large in everyone's mind. The GMs are looking ahead to next season and those to come, while the players know they are not just in a competition to win the Cup, but also in a competition to be drafted as high as possible!

There are many aspects the GMs will look at when it comes time to select: position, build, team needs, personality, activity, etc. But a number which has a huge weight on how the players are perceived is TPE totals - these won't tell the whole story of a player, but those with higher TPE are already showing themselves to be active and dedicated to improving themselves in hopes of cracking an SHL roster spot sooner than later.

With that being said, here are the current TPE totals of all S28 eligible rookies, ranked from most to least. NOTE: This is going off player pages so there may be players with applied TPE that has not been updated, and there is certainly still time for everyone to bust their butts down the stretch to either separate themselves from those with less TPE, or close the gap on those with more.

Code:

Judging by these totals, the first round will almost surely be hits across the board, but it starts getting tricky in the second round - some players TPE total may only be reflective that they were later Free Agent signings ... or maybe they started strong and burned out ... maybe they are secretly planning to spend their careers in the SMJHL?

Who knows!?

Stay tuned for More Scouting Analysis from KFAN Radio in the days to come!
